1988 Schwinn Circuit - 55cm for just $295 - Columbus SL tubing, now with Shimano 600 parts mostly. Still though, These are rare frames that are very nice. The Circuit was the Peloton's successor. The frame looks to be in great shape, just super dusty. The stem/bar/brake lever setup is absurdly long--much too long IMO--for any out-of-saddle effort to feel good, so that would need changing.

Early '90s Novara Strada - 63cm - $265 - Not much money for what I would think would be a rare bike. Cool paint scheme, Tange #1 tubing, champagne-era Shimano 105 (7-speed, dual pivot brakes), very slender lugs. The seller builds up a lot of bikes to sell, and they're all well-setup.

~1978 Gitane (Tour de France?) frameset - 58cm with "snowflake" rear dropouts for $80 - Certainly post-1974 if my Gitane research is worth anything. Lots of patina, or just waiting for a restoration as the seller was planning on. Could be worth it for the resident Francophiles.

A hand-built Palo Alto frame with Campagnolo should not be this cheap - $275! - 49cm - Campagnolo brake levers and calipers, front derailleur and crankset. Shimano 6400-era 600 hubs (laced to Campagnolo rims) and down tube shifters with a Deore rear derailleur. The original Campagnolo shifters and rear derailleur are included. Needs a little love if you are more of a purist, but it certainly a rider.

I think we have some facilitators in this area--I've been the beneficiary of a facilitator in Los Angeles and I am forever thankful. I've never facilitated over long distance (that required shipping), only to Portland as I have family there and I just loop a meeting point in the area when I drive down. You could post in the facilitator's thread and see if anyone is game to inspect the bike, purchase it, and work out a shipping arrangement to get it to you.

Lugged where appropriate, fillet brazed at the BB due to the non-traditional seat tube to BB shell angle. Paint and decals are in fair shape, so it's a rider and not a show queen. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Dario Pegoretti (18 January 1956 – 23 August 2018) was an Italian frame builder, out of Trento, in the Dolomites, Italy, and then later in Verona, Italy. He was widely considered to be one of the great contemporary steel and aluminum bicycle frame builders and a pioneer of lugless TIG welded frames. Pegoretti started to build frames back in 1975 apprenticed with master builder Luigi Milani, who was his father in law. They were a great friends and partners, they build frames for legendary road racers like Indurain, Pantani, Cipollini, Roche, Battaglin, Chiappucci, Tafi, Fondriest and many others. When his father-in-law passed away in the ’90s, Dario continued on, building as a contractor for various brands, also for Pinarello Reparto Corse (racing department). Later Giorgio Andretta convinced him to venture into producing frames with his own name on them. Thus, the Pegoretti brand began, and he’s been building his own frames ever since.
In 1990, Spanish bank Banesto took over as the main sponsor of the team from Reynolds and they create one of the strongest teams back then with Delgado and Indurain as there team leaaders. Over the following years, Indurain rose to become a dominator Grand Tours, winning five editions of the Tour de France (’91, ’92, ’93, ’94, ’95) and two editions of the Giro d’Italia (’92 nad ’93). Dario Pegoretti was responsible for Banesto’s racing bikes, working for Pinarello, as their contractor for their very high-end bikes. From 1993, their frames were TIG welded, made of Dedacciai 18MCDV6HT or Oria ML34 steel tubing and build with Campagnolo Record groupsets.

Headset is original Sante that has been rebuilt.
Bottom bracket has recently been rebuilt.

The Schwinn Circuit was a step below The Paramount in 1988. The catalog for that year indicates it was used for racing. Perfect Frame for a rebuild. Recently rebuilt another Circuit.

No offense, however: With a cheap cottered crankset, steel rims & what looks like a crashed Motobecane fork and stamped dropouts; I don't see anything very high end about this at all.
Personally, the only thing slightly interesting is this early version NR RD. The hubs might be interesting too, otherwise it looks like a good candidate for the metal chipper.

Quite vintage Campagnolo-equipped road bike of unknown provenance (but CHECK THOSE LUGS!). I'd say this is easily a '60s-era road/race bike for numerous reasons. Short chainstay length, meaning, at least to me, that this isn't some chump low-end model. It's been spray painted, sadly, and that price should be negotiable IMO.

Personally, the only thing slightly interesting is this early version NR RD. The hubs might be interesting too, otherwise it looks like a good candidate for the metal chipper.
