Looks like a 1985 model from what I can see, maybe 60cm? No drive side pics. $200 OBO.

Does the serial number (on the headtube) provide any intel? The headbadge appears to still have its original shipping plastic on it, a testament to how little use this bike has seen, but alas, it obscures the date code.

Good spot on the headbadge - didn't notice that. Looked again, can't see the numbers. I might normally be interested in it as it looks to be my size - but right now my cup runneth over and then some. Rare to see something like this on Memphis CL.

For the Ross fans, what looks like a 29x model. One of the better offerings since it does not have the crappy fork ends. Very little useful info from the seller.

Ross road bike - $60 (Henrico)

bicycle type: road
brake type: other/unknown

make / manufacturer: Ross
suspension: other/unknown

Ross adult road bike. Rides well, comfortable seat.
I'm 5'6" and it fits me well.

I also like the way the ad states Colnago and Campagnolo like a pro but can provide no further info.

Didn't Jeffrey Dahmer use bikes as bait? If not, he sure could have.

Yep, 1985 model. Looks to me more closer to 56cm than 60, that headtube is awful short.

Nice bikes, be aware that this model has the proprietary Shimano "B" shifter boss, so you can only use that style of shifter unless you modify the boss.

Decent tire clearance for a 1980s bike, 28c fit comfortably.

Here are the catalog pages for this model year:

Took a 3rd look - my observational powers are somewhat diminished this week for reasons. But right you are, probably a 23" based on that and your info - maybe smaller. I have an '85 Peloton and I'm not really into assembling an '85 Schwinn showcase even if I did have space. I can of course facilitate if anyone is interested, it's lurking somewhere in my immediate vicinity.

If I were near that Colnago grandma, I would definitely stop by. I've been told I'm too trusting, but it has paid off for me.

That looks fantastic. The seller is taking offers so someone may want to try that option after it sits for several weeks.

?
The listing is still up this morning, 16 hours and counting.

Some errors in the listing make me wonder: v-brakes? Suspension fork (hardtail)?
Sure is purty, tho.

Sorry, I should've explained. I messaged the guy when it was two hours old. He said someone bought it "an hour ago". Presumably it's still up until the sale is final. Anyone here get it?

^^^^ Or the seller is too lazy to take down the ad (when does that ever happen on CL?....).

Here's another Bridgestone roadie. Hmm, do I have an MTB worth $150 to trade?....

https://madison.craigslist.org/bik/d...709478273.html

Vintage Bridgestone 400 road bike - cash or trade for MTB - $150 (Oconomowoc)

(Alas, we missed out on a $75 RB-2 by just an hour, earlier this year.)
