I have an '85 560. These Pro Series frames are the quickest, twitchiest, fastest handling bikes I've ever ridden. Pure race bike. Fun as hell. They do have long top tubes.

Hey, I'm in denial here! Wilmington may or may not be an island. I can't keep up. It's altogether too far away. I'd spend more on fuel to make the trek, than the Trek would cost. I'm okay with that, though. My vehicle is rather distance challenged after the wee spot of weather.

(It looks more like a 56 or 58 to me too.)

TREK pro series road bike - $220 (Raleigh)

I think as they get taller the TTs get more reasonable. 58.5cm TT for a 65cm frame is nice. In '88 they went to a 58.1cm TT for the same size of frame (I have one, and they changed to True Temper RC1 tubing, which specs similar to SL). With a 73° head tube angle and not much fork offset, the trail on mine came to 62mm or so. The thing tracks like it's on rails. The frame is light and stiff, and climbs very well (especially out of the saddle). I would think the 531 frame would be very sweet. All my 531 bikes are or have been wonderful riders (a number of them being vintage Treks). With those 105 parts and newer pieces, this looks like a great deal on a well made and well mannered bike.

I read up on these and they're kind of interesting. Not really my thing but it's come down in price and appears to be a good deal for one of these.

I ordered some bullmoose bars on ebay and unfortunately they don't fit my bike. So I'm looking to trade them for a set that will, or sell them. 21 mm quill. 80's vintage. I guess I need a stem that fits 1-1/8. I can't post any pictures because I'm new to the forum.

23"-24" Viscount Road Bike w/ Tubular Rims
per ad - $180condition: good make / manufacturer: Viscount model name / number: Aerospace G.P. Great condition! Has originally manuals AND spare tires / a disc rear wheel suitable for time trial Manual date is March 1976 Used previously for bike racing, but very well taken care of. manufacturer: Viscount model name: Aerospace G.P

Intrigued by the fact it has tubular rims and "spare tires". Does seller mean it is set up for now for tubular and are the spares tubulars as well? If so wouldn't be a bad price....

I don't normally post tandems, but this one is pretty cool.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...706658738.html

Mountain Goat Tandem Frame - $700 (Bristol RI)

Here is a very rare tandem mountain bike made by Jeff Lindsay of Mountain Goat Cycles in Chico, CA.

It is just the frame without a fork. Buyer will probably need a builder to make a custom fork as it has a 1" head tube and maybe a custom clamp for captain's seat post.

Overall the frame is in good used condition with no dents, but lots of scrapes and paint blemishes. Some of these have been touched up with gray cover up paint. But there are some that haven't. There is also some bubbling under the paint in areas, but this appe

ars to be cosmetic and not structural.

Sizing:
Captain seat tube is 22" CTT
Captain top tube is 23.5"
Stoker seat tube is 18"
Stoker top tube is 26" measured from center of captain's seat tube.

Rear Spacing is 140mm.
Takes a 28.6mm front derailleur.
Requires 26.6 mm seat posts
Mounts for 4 water bottles.
Routing for canti brakes and a drag brake.
Made for 68mm bottom brackets.
Includes eccentric bottom bracket on front.

Made for 26" wheels.

If this post is up, then the frame is still available.

Frame is located in Bristol, RI.

Stopped by Velo Classique in Purcelleville, VA while out riding today. They took in a lovely Motobecane Grande Course (? not a Moto guy) on consignment.
Campy shifters and derailleurs, TA Cyclotouriste crankset, centerpulls, etc. Very, very nice condition to my eye. $485 asking price, Wayne says it's the nicest one he's ever seen. Call him if interested. No pics to post.

That's a Peugeot PR 10 that's been muddied up some (wheels look to be steel rims, front derailleur is Japanese, saddle is not original) and has some rust issues but it's very salvageable and the price is decent. I thought about driving to pick it up but I have more than enough projects on hand.

i am am not sure do you have a link? I tried to search it on FB but came up with a different one. What city was it in? Was there a pic of the disc wheel?

I am am pretty sure these had sealed pressed in BB bearings so some patience and fitness is required for servicing.
