eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" Part II
Senior Member
Olympic rings decals were used starting in (I think) 1961 through 1972. My '62 has the Olympic ring decal. The chrome "socks" started as std. equipment in 1963 and the Arnold, Schwinn & Co. designation was last used in 1967(?).

Let us know what kind of Bianchi (modern or classic steel) you're looking for or the details of the Santa Rosa model, maybe someone can help facilitate a purchase for you. Where are you located?

it’s a modern bianchi and the model is a San Jose but the bike is located in Santa Rosa, ca. I’ve found one but the owner was unwilling to ship. I’m located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nice. I had actually considered seeing if someone would check it out and send it to me if it was in good shape (which it seems to be) but I don't really need it.
Let us know what kind of shape it's in. Post some pictures, please.

A Course Is A Course Of Course Of Course, Unless...
Classic Raleigh Super Course - $100 (James Island)

"Classic Raleigh Supercourse steel 10-speed bike built in Nottingham, England. I believe the bike is from about 1978.
Not sure of frame size, but I'm 6'4" and it fits me. I don't think it would fit someone shorter than 6'.
Price $100 or best offer, so if I want it, make an offer.
New Gatorskin bike tires (worth $25 each alone).
Great opportunity for somone who wants to restore. Could be a beautiful classic bike for someone who enjoys that kind of work.
Has been kept in a garage, has some superficial rust, but that's all. Bike functions and rides well, and has been a lot of fun. I rode it in 4 triathlons over the past few years, so it's reliable (but don't expect to set speed records, it's probably 35lbs)."

Paint on that Paramount frame looks very thick, almost like PC. And it's been cold set.
Bikes are okay, I guess.

'51 Paramount anyone? Strange description but cool bike. If the poster owns the thrift store it's in, wonder what he paid for it?

And the dropouts/fork ends look like they've been spray painted with that cheesy "chrome" spray paint that looks sorta like chrome when you apply it, then quickly fades to a dull pewter lustre.

Looks like a lever operated Simplex front Derailleur. Don't see many of those. I wouldn't describe it as the "holy grail" though since it's a touring model Paramount rather than the race model which the Paramount name is usually associated. Check those pretty normal seat stays. Still a cool bike, but $5k is ambitious.
