Proving that there is more than one way to skin a cat, this TTT seatpost looks like a cross between Campagnolo and Simplex offerings of the period:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/302929658812

Didn't seem like it deserved its own thread, but I thought it might be interesting to someone wanting something a bit different. No affiliation...

The slotted fin adjustment design always caught my interest but a recent post from a BF member noting major slippage problems at the slot on his similar Simplex seatpost, now makes me think twice about getting this type of seatpost for my bikes.
A "rocking" two bolt design like the Campy NR, JPR and Rubis seatpost will never have such problems.

~65cm Miele Road Bike - $100

Any one of you skyscrapers (and me) want this lovely repainted steed? Lugs are quite trim looking, and the rear triangle is tidy (owner has the wheels all the way back in the dropouts), so we're looking at something very nice. Dual bottle cages, so...'80s? Pretty bike, and you could sell the parts and end up with a free nice frameset.

Shwinn Prelude Road Bike - $120 (Greensboro)

"bicycle type: road
condition: excellent
frame size: 56cm
make / manufacturer: Shwinn
model name / number: Prelude
wheel size: 25 in
Road bike in excellant condition"

https://greensboro.craigslist.org/bi...730262633.html

(Looks more like a 60 to me, but what do I know. Zooming in, it also appears rather pristine.)

^^^^ Pristine indeed, for a "Shwinn" in "excellant" condition with 25 inch wheels, photographed vertically in a way where he almost had to try to cut off part of the subject. If it weren't such a steal, this would be a WW candidate.

It's always amazing to me that people can't spell something that is literally written on the thing they are selling.

That Bob Jackson deserves a look from someone. I canít tell what the components are but 753 is a high quality tubeset.
