Diadora Celeste Pedals

For you Bianchiphiles. Before use you might want to 3D print some extra cleats.

I think it has plenty of miles on it, RD has been changed out to a Suntour and brake hoods are replacements as well. Pedals are probably just long gone, they would have been Campy Record or SR.

Trek road bike - $150 (link)

Frame size is stated as 17.5" which seems a bit small. Staring at it last night, the frame color, Reynolds 531, double eyelets, caliper brakes (rather than canti) and chain stay length seem to be in line with the 1982 Trek 720 (frame only color shown in the catalog):

.
Agreed - frame looks like a small 720. Even with non-original components I think it's worth the $150.

MIssoula Mt

Rare 1979 Braxton Touring Bike 56cm - $1000 (Missoula)

https://missoula.craigslist.org/bik/d/rare-1979-braxton-touring/6758109254.html

Rad Sam Braxton with a one of a kind bike nerd build.

Handmade in Missoula in 1979. The 96th (of 580) frames that Sam built.

Nervex Lugged frame, with Campi Rear Dropouts.
Integrated, Rear Rack
Campi (Head tube) shifters.
Deerhead rear derailleur.
Suntour XC front derailleur.
Phil hubs, laced to Campi Rims, Suntour Perfect Freewheel.
Campi seat post, with Brooks Pro.
XT Canti brakes.
Cinelli Stem/Bars.
SR Aerox 170mm Cranks, with unknow BB, Campi Peddles.

In great condition. A little dusty from stupid Missoula road construction, but rides great. Could use the Bars re-wrapped, just never got around to pick up the Brooks tape that it deserves.

I've spoken to a few old timers here in town about it, and have all confirmed that it's a rare combinations of parts for Sam. I have no idea how to price it. I saw an other 79' sell on ebay several years ago without the Phil's and integrated rack for $1,200... So, no unreasonable offer will be refused... Provided it goes to great home. For me, I personally rarely ride it. I'd love to see this piece of Montana/Bicycle history go to someone will love/ride it as it was intended.

Good call and good eye to OP. I'm local and this one held my eye for a sec but I didn't see the triple/long wheelbase. Good thing. Too many projects.

1994 Bridgestone RB-1 frameset project 57cm - $200 (Lowell)

I have for sale a vintage 1994 Bridgestone RB-1 the top of the line model 57cm Tange butted tubing, Shimano Deore headset and the original seatpost. The frame is in over all good shape some paint chips here there which over the years have been touched up but still looks good. Also there are 2 minor very small dings on the top tube nothing structural just cosmetic but still worth a mention. This frame will make great for a single speed or a custom geared commuter also the frame can fit up 32c tires. My collection of projects have swelled to a point of no return so its time to start letting stuff go. Sold as is for cash and pick up only. Please mention name, item, location a phone number for a response all other emails or texts will be considered spam and will be ignored. Thanks

https://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/bi...771717358.html

1992 Basso Astra - Retro-modern Italian Campagnolo 20sp road bike 54cm - $750 (Lowell)

Custom retro-modern bike! Show up to your group ride in style.

Early 90's Basso Astra freshly built up with Campagnolo 20 speed kit. This bike is dead sexy and rides like a dream. Hot pink and purple it can't be missed. The ride is plush, quiet and shifts beautifully.

Very nice, light Columbus EL steel tubes lugged with Basso dropouts. Built with Campagnolo Daytona levers, Centaur Ultra-torque crankset, Record front derailleur and vintage Athena calipers. The wheel set is a mix. Spinergy Xaero rear (one of my personal favorite wheels) and a bladed spoke/sealed bearing front wheel.

The frame has some patina but still looks great. Some noticeable nicks on the top tube and most importably what was a rust spot on the right front of the top tube which has been sealed over in addition to a delightful masking with a Campy decal.

In my opinion the bike both rides and looks exceptional. A great collection bike and a great rider. $950

The bike can be seen most weekdays until 7:30pm in Downtown Lowell

Also listed in the RVA CL. One of the two or three bike flippers there. My size and I’m sorely tempted. Would be my first Japanese built steel.

Richmond has about 3 hardcore flippers now along with the one from Chesapeake/Great Bridge. They flood the local CL with bikes. Remember the lambert that someone posted and wanted a month or 2 ago? The seller had the Lambert and a lowly Motobecane Mirage listed for $30 each. I went to get the Lambert for the person and they were gone. Fast forward to present time. They are now listed back on CL for $225 each. No mention of the death fork. One sentence about Lambert. Good luck with that.

Thanks Patrick. I’m gong to mull it over, probably wait until after Christmas and drop him a line if it’s still there.

Can't speak from personal experience, but the chap who curates the Panasonic Virtual Museum seems rather partial to that model.

Speaking of your area, the In laws had a big weekend planned up in your area this past weekend. They were going on one of those Breweries tours on Saturday then the UVA BB game on Sunday. They got the tour in, but left early Sunday morning because of the weather.

Is $375 a good deal for one of these? I'm never sure with Raleighs, I see such a wide range of asking prices.

Raleigh Competition GS. Seller says it's 1980. It's SUPER tall.

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sg...771957498.html

Also, is anyone having trouble directly linking craigslist images? It used to work, but lately whenever I try to upload an image directly from craigslist it hasn't worked.
