A Trek and a Trak! (Trek 610 - $100!!!!) - mid-state Mass.

This is a Reynolds 531cs frame/fork/stays with some/most(?) original components for $100. Medium size - looks like the 21" model. Would make a nice 650b conversion. Originally spec'd with some Shimano N600 components. It might have a Helicomatic rear hub.

The seller also has an actual 'Trak' bike too for $40.

Splashy Davidson 54cm. Needs a little touch up $450 or best offer + $80 shipping. The white is more forgiving to match. Have a hunch this one is anxious especially with all the vultures lurking.

Also, if Dura Ace is your thing to make it a winner, noticed some really low priced deals on eBay. Funny because its going cheaper than 600 or 105 parts.

Also, is anyone having trouble directly linking craigslist images? It used to work, but lately whenever I try to upload an image directly from craigslist it hasn't worked.
It says or best offer..remind the seller in order to sell on eBay for a higher price bikes need a full service as well as new consumables, the seller will also need to pack and ship (time spent) as well as paying eBay and pay-pal fees....I would offer less 225 to 275 and go from there.
You will spend at least 100 less service to get it road worthy...Brooks saddle and Barcons are a plus.
More importantly is it your size?

I would enjoy owning a Team or Club Fuji of that era. I've only sampled a 1983 Supreme in my size, but it had double butted Valite tubing (probably just in the main tubes) and rode well. My brother now has it.

Fuji Opus III (rare) 1985 - 58cm - $400 (Boston)

For your consideration, a very rare Fuji racing bike. The Opus III (1985); top of the line quad-butted CrMo frame and Suntour Superbe components makes this bike very sought-after by Fuji/retro enthusiasts.

This bike isn't quite suitable for me to commute on (no fenders, etc). Needs to be tuned/serviced for the ultimate ride, tires are quite old, could use cables and grip tape (what you would expect for an older bike). Suntour Superbe components are there-- minus the pedals (was looking on ebay... but I have too many other projects going on at the moment). Honestly, you might want to buy it just for that Fujita Conpy saddle...

I'm very fond of this bike, and I don't feel totally obligated to sell asap. Nonetheless, I'm putting it out there to see if the right person is interested.

Nice find! If it fits someone, jump on this one. Not only rare but a beauty, and hands down the most attractive paint offered for the Opus III. I would love to see this cleaned up a bit and fitted with modern components..imagine that..

So true on the paint. Hard to capture in pictures but out on the road in the sunlight the paint is amazing!

Closeup from mine.

Oh, and as much as I'm into modernizing a lot of my old steel bikes I could never do that to an Opus III. The Superbe components are just too beautiful and work so well.

I’d rather not, as to the components part. Great ride as is, can’t do much better then Suntour Superbe on a high end Japanese CV bike. Why degrade it with modern components. Wish this was a little bigger frame, if so, would already be gone.

I have actually owned 2 Club Fujis. The first one was around 56 cm and way too small for me, but I loved the way it rode so resolved to get one in my size as soon as I could. They're not common bikes but in the course of a year I saw maybe 3 being sold in the city of Chicago. Now I live in the East Bay and have only seen one or two pop up out here in about half a year maybe, and not in great condition. If you see one for sale in your area jump on it.

An SR, 55-56cm, nicely appointed. There is a JB logo on the non-drive side chainstay. It would be interesting to find out from this seller what is known about the history of this bike. Listed at $350-

Looks like it can be had for a fraction of the Joe Bell paint job price.

And that kickstand is genius.
