Roberts Fixed Gear

https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/bi...779653975.html

What caught my eye: are those Suntour Bar-cons on the handlebars? On a fixed gear?

Seems like it's set up as a parking brake.

The bike in this wheel size not unusually found on this side of the pond. The 20" is much more common.

Peugeot Vintage 22" 5 Speed Bicycle - $200 (Quinton)

bicycle type: cruiser
brake type: caliper
condition: good
electric assist: none
frame size: 22"
handlebar type: other/unknown
make / manufacturer: Peugeot
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: other/unknown
Peugeot bike in storage for many years. 22 inch tires which are dry-rotted and must be replaced. New tires are available from many sources.
Has a derailleur shift which I am guessing to be 5 Speed. Looks like it still has the factory-installed generator and a rear carrier bracket. Does not include a kickstand. This bike has great potential and is hard to find in the US. If interested make me an offer.

80'S Univega Gran Premio w/ Campagnolo- FULL TUNE UP! - $220

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...759158121.html

Up for sale is a vintage, light weight 80's Univega Gran Premio mens 12- speed bicycle (54 cm frame... ideal for people 5'-10" or shorter). This classic road bike frame was made in Japan using high quality, light weight Tange CroMo tubing and drop outs w/ nice lugs. Chrome fork w/ forged fork crown and Campagnolo head set. The bike is in good used condition for its age with no tube dings or mechanical imperfections and the normal amount of paint wear and scratches for its age. 700c Mavic Velotech wheelset w/ Campagnolo Record hubs and Campagnolo quick release skewers. Brand new Continental Ultra Sport 700c x 23 tires, brake pads, cables and bar wraps. SR crankset, Tange bottom bracket, new chain and vintage MKS pedals. Suntour Cyclone derailleurs and down tube shift levers. Original SR seat post and Univega saddle.. Vintage Cinelli Giro D' Italia bars and Cinelli stem with DiaCompe Gran Comp levers and calipers. The wheels have been trued / spokes tensioned and every bearing has been cleaned and repacked with fresh grease. This bike needs nothing and is 100% ready to ride. I will adjust the seat height and handle bars to the buyers preference when the bike is picked up or delivered. It is definitely a great stylish, vintage ride.

This bike is really light and has a nice set of vintage parts on it... definitely a sweet ride.

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR PHONE # IN YOUR RESPONSE... NO PHONE NUMBER, NO REPLY...CASH ONLY.

Thank you!

Nice rack bag! I bought my ex an old Puch Maxi around 5 years ago. She didn't have a license. I think I paid $400 for it, but prices seem to have risen quite a bit since then, even around here. The Puch Maxi is a lot more common than the Raleigh Wisp, too.

Vintage Men's 1980's Japan -SHOGUN 500 Cr.Moly Blue Steel Ten Speed Road Bicycle

Looks like a lot of bike for the price. I know nothing about Shoguns, but are they this inexpensive?

Of course - my camera is always ready.

I'm finding the search for information on these `80s vintage Shoguns very difficult. There are no catalogs online that I can see, and knowledgeable commentary is quite rare.

What I do know is this: The 500 was a mid-range bike with decent components, but nothing very collectible. I wonder if the number designation follows the same logic of Panasonic from that era.

It is most likely constructed of plain gage Tange #5 tubing, although the decal simply says "chrome moly", and it's equipped with the Shimano 600 Arabesque groupset.

Which, of course, makes it a perfect candidate for one of my Comfortable Classic Conversions ( - or ?) Hey, I like that! Time to get some decals made...
