Is that one of Bill Walton's bikes? Maybe Kareem Abdul Jabarr's?

More likely Kareems...Walton had his bikes custom built by Bill Holland.

An '82 75x or 95x in 64cm would be a dream to own, IMO. The color combinations (white/red or white/blue) are stunning!

That looks like a lot of touch up on the top tube for a bike that has never been ridden. Still, if it was priced better, I would be asking for a facilitator. $850 seems optimistic.

There's also been many years for it to have been stored and stored improperly/with junk laying up against it (something I prefer not to think about). White shows blemishes pretty easily, which doesn't help. IMO the seller is within a reasonable price range on a bike of this vintage, color, and caliber, to say nothing of componentry. If it looks at least as good as it does in the pictures, then it'd be a solid buy. For now, we all have time to wait for that price to ease on down. We shall see what the local Seattle market thinks, I guess.

1987+ Specialized Sirrus for a whopping....$149. Seriously, folks, these are fantastic bikes. 7-speed 1050-era Shimano 105 isn't slowing them down, but...11-speed 5800/7000 Shimano 105 isn't a waste. Again, just $149???

Low price is driven by the fact that it isn’t holy grail sizing of 62-64cm...

Tommasini? 54 cm

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tommasini-8...53.m1438.l2649

Ends later today and advertised as a Tommasini replica but I wonder what the odds are that this is a late 70’s Tommasini. Drive side rear dropouts is Gipiemme but can’t tell what

the NDS one is and I wonder if it was replaced at one point. At any rate opening bid will get you a 600 equipped decently made steel bike for < $200. I might have take a gamble if it was my size. Top tube sticker is strange.

I wonder if the seller buy it NOS in 2015 or does he think it's 1990 still?

Yet another Phoenix-based chrome Paramount, P15-9(?), $900. Third one I've seen in less than a year from that market. Ad says 26" 1952, but the serial and that headtube look indicate 23-24" and 1972 to me. Some potential but not so much at that price considering the usual cost of refurb and (if you're as obsessive as I am) sourcing the correct bits for it. Might be worth someone's time to attempt a negotiation.

The chain on this looks different than any other chain I've seen. What kind is it? Would a standard chain work on this bike?

So I wonder if a replica Tommy is anything like a replica Breaking Away crash Masi. It is my size, but I’m not really in the mood for a risky project.

Could be wrong, but I believe that's the Aldi Bikemate repair stand, $29.99 new:

Not vintage but who knew that Aldi sell bike workstand for $30?

Midnight mauve. '87. I have one that is currently in frameset mode. The other choice in '87 was ice pink.
