*** Pinarello Treviso Road Bike ***
***************************************
I have my original 1996 Pinarello Treviso road bike that I am selling! It is a beauty!
Some of the bike highlights:
- 60cm frame
- Campagnolo Chorus Groupset
- 9 speed / 18 speed
- Mavic Pro Rims
- Very low miles
- Color scheme - Fuchsia, Chrome and Silver
- Columbus SLX tubing
Grab this Italien road bike and ride! Its Spring!!!!
Read on about the legend!
- Giovanni Pinarello, or "Nani" as his friends call him, was born in Catena di Villorba on the 10th July, 1922 during a difficult post-war period in Italy. He was the eighth of twelve children.
His love for two wheels and an innate gift as an indomitable fighter, led him to pursue a career in cycling. This is the ‘Eroico’ (Heroic) era in cycling: Coppi, Bartali, Bobet on white roads, difficult, very difficult terrain. But the young Nani immediately attracted attention, winning over 60 races and the tender age of 20 won “la Popolarissima" in Treviso, an important race in the Dilettanti circuit ( a level of racing which opens doors to being a Professional)
* * Pinarello Treviso Italien Made Road Bike w/Campy components! - $1495 (Melrose)

So many Purple Bikes from that era. The Purple Paint factories must have run double shifts all through the 1990's.

Lean steel road bike up for grabs. Was a project bike of mine, but passing it on to the next rider. Frame has been repainted. Bullhorn handlebars. Will need some TLC to get commuter ready. Tires hold air, shifts fine, brakes kinda work. $30 OBO.
Thanks for looking!

A year ago I'd have leapt at this, but I now have two very nice older Paramounts and my itch has been scratched.
The 50th anniversary models I've seen for sale at reasonable pricing so far have had visible wear on the fork plating - but this one looks good.

"vintage French bike. 5-Speeds. Tour De France Model. It looks good for its age. Gears shift. Brakes work. Tires hold air. You can ride it. Your welcome to take it for a test drive around the block. Frame size from center of crank to top of seat post is 21" (54cm). Has 27" wheels. Good for a person 5'6" to 5'9" tall. Just my estimate. I am 5'7" tall and can ride it comfortably as shown. Seat can be raised quite a few inches if needed. Tires look old but hold air. Handlebars could also use some fresh tape."
