His paw had some nice bikes.
2 Chrome Paramounts This is a pretty neat posting on craigslist in Chaska MN
"I inherited a bunch of bicycles and parts from my dad including two chrome 1970's Schwinn Paramount bikes in good shape. They are both nearly road ready as is but I would clean them up first. In fact I wish to rebuild and restore them!
So here is the deal. If you have a passion for quality vintage bicycles and are looking for a summer project then reply with a bit about yourself. One of the bikes is yours upon completion! I hope to net more than a restored Paramount by the time we are done. I hope to learn a few things, obtain a few tools, make a like minded friend and maybe a riding partner!"

Someone near the East Point/Atlanta area needs to go save this Austro Daimler Inter-10 with full 531db frameset and what look like stock parts except for the rear derailleur and the saddle. Really clear in last photo ....

... because seriously, I do NOT need to buy another bike! Full 531 tubing silver-brazed in Graz, Austria, 700C wheels, probably my size. Please someone else go buy that!

Definitely Fuji's finest, 58 cm. Love those lugs, and that colorway. I wonder how rideable the old beast still is, since that seat tube angle looks pretty goofy. And how much she weighs? Yarrr!

Grab bag of 5 bikes, $700. Looks like someone's collection. I see an Olmo, a Schwinn Tempo, a Trek Tri Series, a pair of Schwinn Le Tours. I would think the Olmo and the Trek would be the most valuable, and I see a Reynolds 531 sticker on the Trek. I know zip about Olmos though, other than that they are well-thought of in general.
I think as us aging C&V collectors die off, we'll be seeing more and more of these kind of fire sales:

Bridgestone Japanese made bikes are famous for their quality and the RB1 was the best bike in the line. This bike looks and rides like brand new with no scratches in the paint and only slight tears in the adhesive RB1 sticker. The bike comes with peddles not shown in the pictures.
The components are Shimano Ultegra and the rims have been upgraded to Mavic Open Pro on the original Ultegra hubs. The frame is 022E Ishiwata seamless heavily butted tubing. This was equivalent or better than any Reynolds or Columbus tubing available. The bike is in perfect mechanical condition and ready for the season!
The Bridgestone catalog is available on https://sheldonbrown.com/bridgestone/1992/1992.pdf . The catalog will tell you the story of the bike as only Grant Peterson could. This is a later RB1s and it is even lighter and has better components than early RB-1s that already had rave reviews.
You could ride this bike trouble free for many years and there would be collectors who would still be anxious to buy it. Compare this bike to what you can buy new at three times this price and I think you will be as excited about these bike as I have been.
Please include a phone number for text or call in your response. I can meet you at the Riverside T staton if you prefer and you can ride it home.

Miyata 1000 at the Co-op
While this more likely belongs in the "Found at the Co-op" thread, I thought I'd post it here for the traffic. Saw this at a local co-op yesterday, not yet cleaned or priced. I didn't think to measure, but appears to be 57-60cm? I can provide contact info in case anyone's interested.

Vintage road bike - used minimally. Mechanically close to showroom condition. Wife rode 2 times, didn't like it, it's been in heated basement for 25+ years. So dusty (no rust) and needs new rubber - tires, tubes, seat. Other than that really a classic.

Great shape other than back wheel is warped. Has street tires on it now but I have mountain tires can’t recall frame size. I’m 6’ tall and was fitted for this at a shop.
Don’t ask if it is still for sale I won’t respond.
Great older bike. I spent $950 on this in the nineties.

Hi, I'm selling this classic Waterford 2200 racer. I love this bike, and built it up myself, but I just don't ride it enough and need to make room for other bicycles. The overall build is very light and comfortable at just over 20 pounds.
FRAME:
It's a classic, lugged steel frame Waterford racing bike. The 2200 is the custom 853/True Temper OX Plat lugged execution of the road racing geometry, which you can find here: https://waterfordbikes.com/road-race/.
The frame was painted ten years ago at the Waterford factory, but overall the paint is very good with just a few nicks that have been retouched.
Measurements:
- 580 mm seat tube c-c
- 575 mm top tube c-c
- 20.5 pounds
BUILD:
Complete Shimano Ultegra 6800 groupset:
- chainset - 11 speed / 175mm / 34/50 / grey
- English (BSA) bottom bracket
- cassette - 11-28 / 11 speed
- chain (fairly good shape)
- center-mount calipers
- front derailleur, braze on
- rear derailleur - 11 speed / short cage SS
- STI Levers - 11 speed / black cables
Handbuilt wheels:
- 105 hubs
- Velocity Fusion rims
- DT double-butted spokes
- Continental Grand Prix 4000S II 700c road tires, 25 front, 23 back -- decent shape
Cockpit:
- Nitto Noodle 177 handlebar 26.0mm, 46 cm
- Nitto Tallux stem, ST1-2609 - 26.0mm - 9cm
- Nitto S65 Crystal Fellow seat post 27.2 x 250
- Fizik bar-tape
- Brooks Cambium C17 saddle, carved
- Shimano SPD pedals
If you don't want both the saddle and the pedals, then I'll take them and $100 off the price.
Please send your phone number with your response.

Da** and my size too...I have been looking for one of these for quite a long time!
I wish I know someone in Boston to facilitate.

^ Weird that someone knows enough about bicycles to measure the seat tube and top tube that way--even if they fudged the picture that was supposed to show the standover--and wants to just give that bike away like that. I would have bought it myself today if I'd known about it--I practically drove right past it! Oh well, I don't need it.
