A few years back I had a Valkyrie, next level down from the Zepplin. This was their top end bike. Mine was very well finished. This companyis different from the Airborne that sells bikes now and someone will be real happy with this for $450.

Trek 950, lugged 19" frame, purple (sour grape), rough, $60 -- Oakland CA area @ CraigsList.
I have a junky old Trek 950 singletrack available, I believe from '91. The bike is in rough condition but the base is one of trek's solidly built lugged steel mtn frames. These make a great base for an urban ripper or a budget bikepacking rig. Wheels spin and are reasonably true, brakes stop the bike, innertubes hold air for a few days but would need to be replaced before any extensive riding. Measurements as follows: tt: 22.5" seat tube 19" standover 30"
$60 OBO
$60 OBO

RB-2 Buffalo in quite good shape
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6901746447981/
I know it's not an RB1 but....
Fellow in Buffalo has an RB-2 that he has tried to sell for a long long time. I first saw it at $800 OBO, then I think $600, then $550 and now he has dropped to a more believable $200.
I can see it has 400 Exage Derailleurs, Sugino cranks Exage Motion brakes and an Avocet seat. He doesn't seem to know the size (I'm guessing 59cm frame).
He even sent me two videos but can't seem to load them on here. I expect he will deal if anyone is looking.

For what it is, this bike is a bargain, early 1990s build (online resources indicate possibly 1-year only version of this bike in 1993), very light (about 20 lbs) True Temper RC2 Camo steel tubing, extremely light and resilient double-butted tubing used during this period by US builders, this TIG-welded frame is US-built and at the time, this $770 ride was a favorite with triathalon participants, this was back in the day of Mark Allen, Dave Scott and others battling it out in Hawaii, bike is Shimano 105 throughout, all components are tight and right, very minimal chips in the white and blue spatter Jackson Pollock-esk paint job, totally original with the possible exception of the seat, the seat is Vetta but is padded, pretty sure this bike would have come with a narrower leather-cover racing saddle, the wheelset looks 100 percent original to me, tires are now Continental and were probably changed out at some point. Super nice ready-to-ride-NOW training ride at about less than a quarter of the equivalent steel 105-equipped build today, just grab this, put some new bar tape and a modern saddle on it, and get out there............Todd 774-249-2198.

Fair price for a very nice touring bike. BUT the seller needs to post a pic of actual bike. especially since he has it listed as a 27 inch frame..
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...879769225.html

Pretty Rare to find this bike anymore and that's a shame, back in 1988 Cannondale was at the cutting edge of high end fillet-brazed aluminum touring frames, and this one is the Top of the Line bike at the time, all decked out in XT and similar high end Shimano components, rare Dia-Comp investment-cast cantilever brakes, Wolber "59"touring rims, etc etc, original set up with Brooks Professional saddle, fenders, racks fore and aft, 3 (yes, 3, 1 is mounted below the down tube, another Cannondale innovation) bottle cages, and original generator lighting (generator is mounted at bottom bracket!!), nice paint, no dents or damage, Spec page is taken from an on-line source (Vintage Cannondale) of the 1988 catalog, Todd

Do I see a Stronglight 49 crank? Rear tubular? Pic is very poor. Wierd/cheap looking head lugs. But if I was closer I would go take a look. You know- just for grins.
