what appears to be a 1988 Peugeot Triathalon on Seattle FB Marketplace If I wasn't thinning the herd I might have a go myself as it looks about the right size (58 cm). I guess they wanted to get in on the Iron-man action

The frame/paint look to be in great shape! However, the only component original to this 1987 model is the headset. Everything else is too old or just plain not what would have been put on these frameset-only offerings.
If anyone needs any further convincing, aside from it being Tange Prestige, an appreciable frameset value is the same as the asking price for the whole bike, IMO, as one who owns a 25" size in the same color (and year).

What he said. Well designed and engineered and nice riding, and that is the best version of the several iterations. You get used to the look. Yamaha used the same trailing axle type front fork on its XV550 Vision. It's a way to tighten up the wheelbase on what would be a longer bike.

This is sweet! Good thing it is too big for me. Columbus frame, Campi Triple, Long Cage RD, and Chrome! I know! How fabulous is that? The brakes are upgraded from the orginal Mafac cantis and the shifters down graded for some reason. https://cnj.craigslist.org/bik/d/mil...955707763.html

That bike confuses me. At first glance it looks like a touring bike from the canti's, but after some more observation, it looks like a poorly thought out "touring" bike with stem shifters and no rack mounts. Just my opinion, though. Looks like it would be a great rando bike.

I don't know anything about Ross Mount Whitney mountain bikes and their value, but there's a really clean one, complete with (I think) lots of original parts for sale at the Paceline board for what seems to me a very good price. Not my size or I probably would have bought it.

Red, trek y foil 66 road carbon fiber road bike. No pedals, no seat. Everything else is pretty nice. 54 cm frame. Rare bike for this price with Rolf vector wheels. Will need tires.
Sutton is in south-central Massachusetts, not far from the Connecticut border.

Nice bike, a bit expensive for what it is, but then again, so (evidently) is house paint....

Actually have corresppnded with the owner on this. He's an artist/musician/photographer type O'guy, so suspect this is more artsy than anything else. Truth is, if you want a Peloton in that size (and I'd love another one, myself) his is pretty decent.
