Weird? Yes.
But a real weirdo? Absolutely not.
This is the only REAL Weird-Oh.

(Hawk models from the 1960s)

Looks like a '91 sport-hybrid Cannondale SH800, TOTL for the year, fairly good shape, largest size available (22"). Rarely see the SH models.
$275 shipped. @oddjob2 might argue this is a smoking deal for local pickup, maybe above average for shipped?

I predict this will turn into a flaming bid-war before it's all over.

I've actually seen one of these before at a thrift store. I wasn't too interested then, as I'm still not now, but this motivated me to find out more about it.

Really pretty old Raleigh but I think it is way overpriced and that the guy is dead wrong about the frame tubing. I say it's plain gauge 3-tube Reynolds and not the full 531c he claims.
https://richmond.craigslist.org/bik/...000698078.html

bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
frame size: 23 inch
make / manufacturer: Raleigh
model name / number: Grand Sports
wheel size: 27 in
RALEIGH Grand Sports – 1968 model frame & fork of Reynolds 531c chrome plated steel. The small c designates this as the special “Competition” grade of lighter steel. This classic road racing/touring bike was built in Nottingham, England. Zeus cranks, Huret shifters and derailleurs, Weinmann 750 centerpull brakes. The saddle is a Brooks Professional. The pedals are Atom 600 with Brooks chrome clips. The stem is Avea with alloy bars and original tape. The wheels have 27 x 1 ¼ Weinmann rims and the Schwinn 1 1/8 replacement tires are OK. Dusty but not at all rusty.
The original owner rode this a few years before passing it on to me; I have been the custodian for 40 years. I decided it was too large after riding it two miles.
The seat tube is 23 inches and the top tube is 22 ½ inches. The size is right for a 5’10” to 6’2” man or a slightly shorter woman.
For Sale now $800.
Call show contact info , a land line, to discuss details or to make a purchase. No email or text.
Thanks for looking

Saw similar issue on this Sears bike claiming 531 tubing tonight https://www.ebay.com/itm/133202345849
Looks 70s, but isn't that a late 90s Reynolds 531 sticker? Besides that, something tells me Sears wouldn't make a 531 frame with cottered cranks and pressed dropouts but this looks like one of those listings where the buyer is probably convinced they know better so I won't be bothering to say anything.

I'm no Reynolds pro but those look like older style (pre-TI conglomerate) decals so would be correct for the bike if authentic. The bike does lack the fork decals that you'd expect on a full 531 machine--perhaps Sears did not use them; can't recall--and the color might just be a fluke. Even if it's the real thing I would not pay more than the $110 current bid if I wanted it badly, which I do not.

Not going to bid since I have absolutely no need for a pure track bike, but I'll be watching with interest to see how far that goes.

Bianchi Time Trial bike?
Once upon I time I think I saw BianchiGirl talking about one of these, assuming it's legit and not some cobbled together mishmash.
I know I've seen these in a catalog, but for some reason I'm not finding it this morning.

Looks like they don't show the decal on that Sears until '95+? Not saying it's impossible, but seems strange if that's a timeline document they created and/or validated for publish at their site.

The '95-on style, per that page, is NOTHING like the one on the Sears bike. Look again at the typeface on the 1935-1981 sticker, and on the Sears sticker. Exact same typeface. Layout is different but it's the type style that indicates the era.
