In My Neighborhood; Why Couldn't This Be That Stumpy Or Litespeed? Hmmmm?

Centurion Ironman Master Dave Scott - $125 (Monkey Junction)

"Centurion Ironman Master "Dave Scott" triathlon road bike. These were made around 1987-89 (you can easily look them up!). This one doesn't have a lot of miles on it, just been away for many years. It has one brand new tire, the other is in good condition. It needs a new seat and probably new wrap on the aerobars. Shimano parts - high quality. It's a good little bike for being a vintage model! (probably collectable these days...)
My measurements may not be exact, but they're close (used a tape measure).
Asking $125.

bicycle frame material: other/unknown
bicycle type: road
condition: good
frame size: 20"
make / manufacturer: Centurion
model name / number: Ironman Master Dave Scott
wheel size: 24 in"

Holy carp, I didn't scroll down at all. He is a nutjob!

There's some dude up in VT that puts out some CL bike ads, and he tells very little about the bikes he sells, but a whole lot of verbosity. He makes vague humorous references, and weird jokes. I'll post one up next time I see it.

I think I need that so I can have twins. I wonder what year it is as mine has those funky shimano round shifter bosses.

Well, I'm happy to say those spiders will be finding a new home if the owner or BF'er shipping it to me don't clean them off... After nobody bid on the bike, I tossed the seller an offer, he quickly accepted, and hopefully it'll be en route to me before EOW.

I don't currently have a touring bike and only one other UK bike in my fleet, but it seemed like such a great deal on a damn near mint CB, I couldn't pass it up.

Super expensive for what it is. There was a Super Strada for sale here in ATL last week for $180 in near-mint shape, full panto, lots of campy. @greg3rd48 tipped me off, but the ad posted at 9:30pm, I replied at 6:30am, and it was already spoken for by then.

Missed a similar Super Strada for $240 in Savannah two years prior. Then ended up picking this one from @Essthreetee - 1985 Torpado Super Strada 60cm Frame/Fork

In The Pink?

Bianchi Road Bike, Extra Large - $80 (Holly Springs)

Posted about an hour ago

"This is an extra large frame (63cm) Bianchi Sport SX road bike. You must be over 6' tall and have long legs to ride this bike. It's a 12 speed bike with down tube, index shifters. The frame is made of Bianchi Superset, Tange double butted chromoly steel. The components are the complete set of Suntour/DiaCompe/Sugino Alpha 5000 group. There are some spots where the paint has peeled but this does not affect structure. This bike appears to be 100% original except for the chain and tires. The chain has been recently replaced. The bike is fully functional, that is everything works. While the current brake pads work, they are original and you might want to replace them to improve braking. The price is a low $80 because of the size of the bike limits the number of buyers.
If interested please text or e-mail. Please state "Bianchi" in your text because I'm selling more than one bike.
Cash only.
All proceeds go to charity.

bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
brake type: caliper
frame size: 63cm, extra large
handlebar type: drop
make / manufacturer: Bianchi
model name / number: Sport SX
suspension: none (rigid)
wheel size: 700C"

True that, but.... it's a pretty nice frame at a very good price especially if you need a big one.

I just picked up a Bianchi Sport SX in white/pearl paint in the same size. I am giving a complete overhaul and putting on Shimano 105 or 600 components. It is going to be my beater bike. I paid quite a bit less than the one above. I much prefer the pink one over the white/pearl.

Fuji Design Series

https://allentown.craigslist.org/bik...984298597.html

This Design Series Fuji is an incredible bike. I have an Opus III and it is such an underrated frame. The high end Fuji's made from the late 70/s through the mid 80's like the Opus III, Newest, Professional, and Design Series are all beautifully made.

'Tis my old frame you bought. That bike rode above it's class, IMHO.

Despite the sullied, unholy build, this would be a good chance to acquire a Professional. I dunno... seeing this beauty dressed up like this... ugh.
