Bianchi Campione D'Italia Road Bike

Top Tube Leingth: 56 cm
Standover Height: 80 cm

I bought this bike a few years back for triathalons and only used it a few times but quickly grew out of it. The bike has spent the greater part of the last few years hanging in the garage without any use. Still is great condition.

This sold for $218, which is really quite reasonable. The rear shifts like buttah.

Another nice Bianchi for $300.
Thanks for the lead, Raverson. I don't know how I missed that one on my nearly hourly Portland search, but I'm working on taking the drive to Washugal to check it out. Not a bad deal!

this one is being auctioned right here in town, so I'm very tempted to run over and have a good look at it. the spoke pattern on the rear wheel is puzzling to say the least though.

Derailleurs: Campagnolo Valintino Extra front and rear
Shifters: Campagnolo down tube
Brakes: Universal center pull brakes and CLB levers

Wizel603, that's a nothing-special bike, even if it is close. I see nothing special about the spoke pattern. It looks totally normal.

Crows feet lacing ain't that normal 'round these parts. It's behind 2, 3, 4 cross and radial and ahead of fanned lacings in popularity, unless you're into lowrider bikes, then the fanned wheels are ahead of crows feet.

Actually, looking at pictures more closely, it only looks like crows feet in the 3rd pic. optical illusion????

It's a normal effect of looking at the wheel when the cross on one side is lined up with the cross on the other side. Not crow's feet.

Raleigh Team Set Bike-early 80s Reynolds 555 frame - $150 (Somerville, Davis Square)

Date: 2010-06-10, 8:04PM EDT
Reply to: sale-4sj8a-1785763689@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Just finished polishing this old girl and she's ready for the road! Great fit for someone 5'8" to 5'10" but it's a little short for my 6'0" height and long reach. Comes with the Schwinn aluminum rear rack and the under-seat bag you see in the photos. The saddle is a little beat, but it can still handle a butt on a long journey.

General specs are Shimano components, head tube shifters, plain foam grips (you'll want to replace these for sure, though they have held up fine for 25 years), 27x1 1/8 wheels, 10-speed, simple cage pedals. It's pretty well assured that from the serial number this bike was built in Taiwan in 1985 for sale only in the US. Average sale price for this model with the 555 tubing is anywhere from $120-310 depending on upgrades and condition. This bike is in superb condition, but it could use a small amount of work, especially with a new wheelset to match it to 700c components thus making it easier to find parts in the future.

I'm asking $150 or best offer. Cash only on this one, thanks.

Cannondale ST400 road bike in blue. 58 cm (good for someone 5'8" to 6' in height). The ST (sport touring) model which is slighlty shorter than touring frame and slightly longer (and more comfortable) than racing frame. One of Cannondale's first and original all very responsive aluminum bicycles (from 1986). Shimano 600 components, including upgrades to the Shimano 600 SIS (index) shifters and derailleurs. In good condition.

From what I can gather, this was a lower end bike made of gaspipe, but looks like it could be made into a fun tourer or rando... triple crank, plenty of eyelets, rando bars, etc. Price feels high, even for the name, though.

Peugeot PX-10 Road bike, 60 cm frame, beautiful - $700 (Mansfield, MA)

Date: 2010-06-10, 10:51PM EDT
Reply to: sale-cqm7q-1785980488@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

For sale is my Peugeot PX-10 road bicycle. The PX-10 was Peugeot’s flagship bicycle and also the most highly collectible. This is the bike that took Eddy Merckx to the Tour De France win multiple years. I believe this to be a 1971 model PX-10, the original dating is hard due to Peugeot’s serial numbers not meaning much of anything.

This bike has a Reynolds 531 frame and fork. Both frame and fork have Nervex professional lugs (simply breathtaking lugs!) with Simplex ends. The bike originally had Simplex derailleur’s but they were replaced by the original owner.

Peugeot PX-10 Reynolds 531 frame and fork, 60cm
Brooks Professional Saddle – beautiful!
Campagnolo Nuovo Record front and rear derailleurs
Campagnolo cable clips and Campagnolo Record seatpost
Camagnolo Record shift levers.
Stronglight No. 93 Crank and Chainwheels
Mafac Racer Brakes w/ original pads and brake lever hoods
Mavic Montlhery Rims w/ Normandy Luxe Competition hubs and Simplex quick release (tubular rims)
Lyotard Pedals with Christophe Toe Clips and Lapize straps.

With the installation of tubular tires this bike will be ready to ride or to grace your collection. The bike rides and shifts like no other! You won’t find another PX-10 in this condition (the bike is not perfect, but is very nice for being 40 years old!)

Asking $700.00 obo

I live in Pennsylvania and am visiting family in Massachusetts from the 19th - 27th of June. I will bring this bike with me if I have someone who is seriously interested. Please call 484-797-9356 ~ mike

I know this wouldn't interest a lot of you but the color is right up MY alley and the size looks ok. Any clue as to what model this is? Looks to be a label of some sort just below the fork crown. Wonder if it's worth going to look at....the town is just south of me.

Looks like a Trek 770. I would love to have one, I think the color looks great in person. You will enjoy it, or sell it to me.
