we need to get those people who drive rescue dogs all over the country to start transporting rescue bikes too.

That Super Sport looks almost worth the 8 hour RT drive.
Wheels aren't original, as far as I can tell (original wheels had 36 spokes) and the crank set is an update.

The Marin and Antelope are the interesting ones for me. That Benotto might have one of those fun take apart challenges...

If someone wants that Super Sport, I am local. It's on the East side of RVA, but I am on the West side. I'm in that area once or twice a week. I can pick it up, store it, send it on it's way, etc. Contact the seller and make yourself a deal. Send me a PM if I need to pick it up. You can check with the rest of the board if you want references.

1993 Bridgestone MB-1 vintage mountain bike. Lightweight 19/5" Ritchey Tange Prestige steel frame with the coveted Ritchey bi-plane fork. Comes with all Shimano XT components, Ritchey Logic crankset, Ritchey Logic brakes and levers, Ritchey Vantage Comp rims with Deore DX hubs, newer Ritchey Tires. Has a small ding on top tube but otherwise appears to be fully original and in good shape. Highly collectible bike. $1,200.00 firm or will consider trade for early Fat Chance Wicked or Yo Eddy or for an early Merlin mountain bike. Please leave a name and number if interested. Won't respond otherwise. Thanks.

Nice bike in my size. But $3000 for any bike -even a Colnago- with Athena is $2000 too much.
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...053646297.html
Gorgeous Colnago Master Olympic Decor, handmade in Italy, in amazing condition with very few miles. Famous Columbus Gilco crimped tubes covered in famously loud early-90s Colnago paint scheme.
I purchased it in 2010 from the original owner. He had hardly ever ridden it. The bike has never been ridden in the rain and has never spent a night outside.
The bike rides beautifully. It is very direct and responsive, and the Columbus Gilco tubes provide a ride quality of legendary suppleness. It is a dream.
There are a few small scratches from storage; the cranks show typical scuffing; there are two very small and one slightly larger paint chip on the top tube (see photos).
I am not entirely sure of the year, but it appears to be circa 1994. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can inform me. The paint scheme is incredible; the chrome is to die for. The bike and Campagnolo groupset are simply in gorgeous condition. There are no dents, and it has never been in an accident.
Everything on the bike is original except the tires, chain, brake pads, and bar tape. This is a rare all-original example of one of Italy’s finest handmade steel bikes, as it was originally built up, and in an even more rare size. It is ready to go as a weekend-ride head-turner.
Full Campagnolo 8-speed groupset (again, I am not an expert and am unsure of exactly which Campy line; it is not Record, but one of the mid-level groups). Selle Italia saddle. 700c x 25mm Continental Grand Prix 4 season tires with plenty of miles come on the original Campagnolo wheelset. Pantographed 3TTT stem and bars in beautiful condition.
The bike had a full tuneup, with hubs repacked, in Spring 2019. My LBS has confirmed that the frame is in great shape.
The seat tube measures 63cm center to center, and the top tube is 59cm center to center.

This looks to me like a 1982 Trek 728, 22.5in, misadvertised as an '83 520. In average condition and needing a deep cleaning and overhaul, $375 is probably optimistic. But, it's an '82 728.
