Schwinn Peloton in Nashville TN

This might not be strictly C&V, but if anyone has been looking for one of these it looks to be in decent shape. Not my posting, but near me, and I'd be happy to facilitate if anyone wants it

Well here we are in the new "roaring '20s", so I reckon any '90s bike qualifies. A few more C&V check-boxes -- quill stem, Reynolds steel, not built (presumably) by robots. Seller's fit range estimates are... optimistic. I'm only 5'8" and there's no way a frame that small would fit me.

I'm not up on later Cinelli models, but there's something newish on Chicago CL. Kind of an odd assortment of Campy bits...

1980 Holdsworth Pro 60cm/ Campy Super Record - $425 (Wareham)

My 1980 Holdsworth Professional 60/cm built with Campy Super Record and Nuovo Record parts (except for shifters & seatpost) has serial # 026042. This bike was ridden a lot, it has lots of nicks, scuffs & wear, the clear coat over the paint has yellowed in areas, but there are no dents or dings, the frame is solid. The Campy parts are a mix of Super Record derailleurs, 170mm crank & 52/42 chainrings, cage pedals. Record brakes, brake levers, large flange hubs, toe clips. The shifters are Suntour. Cinelli stem, Fiamme bars. The seat and post are generic old stuff.
The wheels are Campy large flange hubs with a Mavic rim on rear and a Matrix front (must have been a damaged replacement, I can't remember)
This is a 40 year old hand - built steel frame & parts. It's been a one-owner since I built it in about '81.
The frame height from the crank bolt center to the top of the top tube is 59.60cm. The top tube is 54cm. (I'm 6'1")
Has not been ridden since about 2002. The bottom bracket, hubs, and headset will need grease service. The parts are all cleaned but not lubricated. I'm calling this "Fair" condition to stay conservative.

Nice bike at a very solid price. If it were my size and local, I'd fall of the wagon to buy it.

The S is clearly experienced around bikes but that is such an odd position for the brake levers.

My apologies, it was the Cinelli shown just before yours that I was looking at. Yours is very nice but way too big for me I'm afraid.

You sound a little confused. This thread is all about re-posting ads from Craigslist, eBay, and Facebook, right? No one is actually selling anything of their own here.

If you're talking about the Bianchi, it's still up on Craigslist. Looking at the map location, looks like it is north of Fredericksburg about midway between Fredericksburg and Haymarket.

Look at the headtube length and spacing between the reartire/seat lug in relation to the crank size. That's probably a 52T chainring. I'm thinking the size is north of 60cm. I like the stealth cables and housing. It appears they are invisible or nonexistent.

These are part of the full tool sets, and I've never seen one with any sort of marking logos etc.

You hold one end by the thin edge up to your (newly faced) bb shell and point it back to the inside face of your rear drop outs and it will indicate if your rear triangle is in alignment. J-Lo and Shakira use it to check the alignment their rear ends so you know it works great. Tullio would be so proud to see you using this tool.

Make an offer, you may get a pleasant surprise. OTOH, you may get a heartless robot auto response in the negative doubtlessly plunging you into a bottomless pit of despair. Avoid this by offering a generous amount, perhaps the entire contents of your bank account.

I think this might be a deal for someone in the area. It was posted two days back and might be gone already..

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...7222590441097/

Romic Steel Touring Bike, Vintage
Columbiana, OH ·

Up for sale is a vintage steel touring bike built by Ray Gasiorowski in Houston, Texas. He dubbed his brand as “Romic.” According to the serial number it was built some time in the 1980s. I don’t know much about vintage bikes, but I was told this bike was specced very fairly in the era. Campagnolo hubs and headset, and Champion wheels are stand out features to me. Needs a little work, most just needs new bars and seat (unless you like the one on it) and then it will be a great little touring rig! Frame size looks to be about 24.5”, so pretty big!
