Easily remedied, and you don't have to buy more bikes, you can just test your resolve by looking at all those tempting ads. It'll be good for you.

Rivendell Appaloosa Frameset with Parts - $999 (Marshfield)

I’ve been trying to build my dream touring bike for a long tine and have collected a lot of the parts. I only need racks, panniers and, to build a 650b wheel set. After a career change out of the cycling industry I’ve lost interest, have too many bikes. My loss can be your gain.

https://www.rivbike.com/collections/...aloosa-framset

Attached link is the current model with specs.

Included in this package is:

Nitto seatpost 27.2
Nitto stem 120mm
FSA headset
SKS fenders
Greenfield kickstand

For a few dollars more: (+$75)

Vintage Shimano LX/XT group including: m550 175 46/36/24 crank, Deore 7/8 thumb shifters, XT rear and LX front derailers, old school SLR brake levers and metal pedals with vintage “offroad” toe clips.

To complete ultimate ride: (+$125)

Schmidt SON28 (36h) refurbished generator hub

In total all this stuff is $1199, I’m looking to sell all of it on one chunk, so it’s still $300 less than the current model.

We can also discuss delivery in metro Boston and shipping if you’re further away.

Guessing that the seller meant foreleg, (and not four legs). On a steel horse he rides?
Stays and logs support sellers ID as a Holdsworth, (certainly more than a "Gios Professional".
IDK about the date. Brazed on bits are not entirely consistent. I would expect to see cable guides on top of bb, and an RD cable stop instead of clamp-on. My guess, bits came later, and have no bearing on MFR bate. Maybe seller have personal knowledge, or serial # info we are not privy to. Too small, and too far away, thank goodness.

The non-drive side photos and single unseated brake lever hood kill me. The pink is great and it all looks to be functional, if only needing to be cleaned up and the front brake cable housing length trimmed. It's certainly cheaper than the one I'm selling, though I have hand-built wheels, newer Dura-Ace componentry, and a few more desirable pieces. With bar tape that doesn't need to be replaced. Someone should be able to get a very nice frame and components for a fair price, with only super cheap or free changes to carry out.

I am pretty sure this is a 1993 Krono luglessly constructed with Columbus SBX tubing. According the Bianchi USA catalog this would have come with pair of FIR carbon trispoke wheels but doesn't say if they are different sizes.
