Guy had this up for cheap a while back with another bike. He was going to sell it to me for $60. I told him it was worth more, but that I'd buy it for that. Didn't happen...

Oh -- Bay Area -- does that mean they have to slip the bike through the mail slot?

^ I’m hoping to meet the seller of that Stumpjumper tomorrow. I plan to hand him a $100 bill attached to the end of a 6’ long stick and have him slowly back away from the bike as I approach.

Well, Orcas, it's been 15hrs since that ad was posted, and the ad's still up. So you've still got a shot. Polish that C-note really nicely ... and don't poke the seller with the stick. Good luck.

$200 for a 1985 Trek 720 seems really good. I'm surprised Trek used 531c for a touring frame. Looks like even original racks.

I never find bikes like this around me. I think everyone sells them before moving south to NC.

I'm not sure who's looking for anything in CA right now given the situation, but these are some cool bikes to look at.

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...7443829578436/2 Orbit road bikes. These were handbuilt in England. They both need assembly. Blue road bike is 55cm-105 Grupo, Campi rims- new out of the box never assembled. The tandem has very few miles on it. $200.00 each obo.- White Voodo is medium- this was hand-built in USA frame #003 ! Very trick in its day, Easton CF bars and seat post, Magura hydr. rear brakes, Hayes hydr. front brakes, King rear hub on ceramic rim. Fox fork, also comes with salsa ridged fork.$300.00 firm- All bikes are in riding condition- (accept the Orbits of course).
