JTALY FRON CR:
3ttt stems were originally known as Ambrosio, which also made bars and rims, both in aluminum and steel. The Ambrosio "Champion" family goes back to at least 1953 (page 190 "World of Rebour"). The "Champion" was available in polished aluminum or chromed steel, and was still being sold as late as 1964 (Reliable Cycle catalog, 1964, page 42) Also available was the Ambrosio "Super Corsa" adjustable alu stem. The "Champion" came in 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12cm lengths. These stems were stamped "AMBROSIO CHAMPION" on top of the bulge where the bar passed through.
By 1963 Ambrosio had introduced the "Gran Prix" stem, which updated the "Champion" by eliminating the point at the rear, behind the edge bolt head (Evian Cycles catalog, 1963, page 43). This was soon updated again, to a recessed allen-key wedge bolt. Some of these stems included the text "MADE IN JTALY" (sic) on the right side, and "GRAN PRIX" on the left.

Couple of goodies in Dallas,
"Vintage MTB goodness!!
This bike has a rad frame and is a full Shimano XT group set even the pedals.
Yeah it’s scratched up, It’s a old trail bike!
You don’t see these everyday.
21.5” or large"
-
"One of the rarest, most sought after Schwinn bikes...only made in ‘77 & ‘78. Beautiful bike is in outstanding condition. Bike needs nothing...everything works perfectly. Original Dura-Ace components with Crane rear derailleur, which was rebranded Dura-Ace the next year. Great riding bike. Time for someone else to enjoy.
*Reynolds 531 steel tubing including fork
*New 32mm Extralite Compass tires, the finest tires available
*Front rings 42/52...six gear rear cluster
*High end Mavic rims/Maillard 700 hubs"

Got a few fun ones here:
1987 Schwinn Prelude in Ice Pink. $300 OBO. Beautiful color. Non-original parts, but still period correct. White saddle and Benotto bar tape really make it sing. Tempting.

Mid to later '80s Univega Nuovo Sport in a really fun color for $70 at Bremerton's local super mega bike as-is seller. Spline triple butted tubing even! The finish of the components on most of his bikes are usually pretty roasted, but they get indoor storage and a lot of times the paint is still good. You won't find a Colnago in any of his listings, but there are many decent mid-level bikes.

And finally, a 1976 Motobecane Grand Touring for $225. Lovely shape, but I'm going to call "bent fork" as that is much too little rake/offset for a GT. An image search corroborated my suspicions. It's right next door to @gugie so that could be corrected in short order.
