Basically the same here except the size, if it were at least 60 when 62 is my normal low limit, I would be all over it even being white, my least favorite.

The force is strong with an NOS one.

Nice deal if you're near, easy ship. Did anyone notice the internal brake cable routing?

Building this one up appropriately would take another nice chunk of cash.

Are you willing to facilitate?

Yeah, I have a bottom-end Teddy, hi-ten frame and steel rims, etc, and it has the same cable routing.

That's quite a find. Please report back. I'm jealous, but would be more jealous if it were a 62cm.

I see you guys talking about Merciers a lot, and I know nothing about bikes that old, but this 1973 one has been sitting for months @ $150, has an unusual paint job for the era, and looks as though it may have some potential for a smaller rider:

Vintage bicycle mtb mountain klein fox vanilla - $300

image 10 of 15

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap(google map)

bicycle frame material: aluminum
bicycle type: mountain
frame size: Medium
wheel size: 26 in
She dirty but pretty. The bike is set up for 6 '1 where seat is now . I think it's good for 5 '9 to 6 '3 . It looks like it has some really fresh rubber on it. The front wheel is not original. I didn't even notice when I purchased. I bought for the beautiful frame. I stored it away for a rainy day. Never got to it. I have it priced cheap because front wheel is not original.
