Bianchi Campione D' Italia road bike - MINT - 54cm - $375 (Tyngsboro)

Date: 2010-06-24, 12:10PM EDT
Reply to: sale-qkxsn-1808617219@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Italian made Bianchi Campione D' Italia road bike. This bike has seen very little use, stored indoors, and has just received a full professional tune up (which it hardly needed).

100% ready to go and in great riding condition this is an excellent starter road bike. The frame is built with Italian Columbus steel tubes. The components are graphite finish Suntour Quattro. The Quattro group is actually a mix of Japanese and Italian parts. Modolo brakes, Ofmega hubs, cranks, seatpost bottom bracket, headset and a Suntour drivetrain. 12 speed indexed shifting.

No fix up work required by you. 32" stand over height - 54cm size is perfect for someone in the 5'6" - 5'10" range.

Here is a link to view a complete set of photos....

https://picasaweb.google.com/jlelandh...eat=directlink

I will not fall for your scam, serious inquiries only. I am located in the Westford, Dunstable, Groton, Tyngsboro area. I can also meet at the Lowell or Ayer Commuter rail stations for serious buyers.

PRICE IS FIRM - CASH ONLY - GREAT BIKE

Thanks!

Raleigh Team USA frameset for sale. Headset, Seatpost, fork all included. 56 cm top tube, 58 cm seat tube.

Unique and beautiful red, white and blue (with stars!) paint job. Rare frameset.

Made out of raleigh 555sl tubing, fully lugged frame construction. Horizontal dropouts for a fixed gear conversion, or build it up with gears.
Frame condition 7 or 8/10. Some chips and scratches in the paint. One of the top tube housing guides is missing- to get around this you can zip tie the housing to the top tube or you can get a stick on housing guide.

If you are reading this then the item is still available.

I would have to agree with stien, why do you think this is a bargain? I've sold Nuovo Sports in Boston for $120 or so and in ready to ride condtion. I would consider $200 either
a no sale or a very long wait. Not clear if it is ready to ride.

I guess the guy in Methuen finally got rid of his. It seemed like he was posting his for weeks.

^^Never said it was a bargain. I agree it is pretty way overpriced. It just might be a bike someone is looking for and the guy posted that he'd take offers.

Guerciotti Sprint.
Lugged aluminum frame made by Alan.
60cm (C-C) Seattube
58cm (C-C) Toptube
Mixture of Campagnolo (original) and Shimano parts
Mechanically excellent other than dry tires
Cosmetically good. The lugs could use some elbow grease to bring out the shine.

This looks too nice to get Drew'd

Custom Italian road frame perfect for single speed 50cm - $120 (Bucktown)

Date: 2010-06-23, 2:16PM CDT
Reply to: sale-egnvv-1807178116@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

This is a custom built Columbus road frame from the mid 80's. When I got it it had decals on the frame that said "Palo Alto" and as I understand it these frames were custom built by an Italian frame builder for a bike shop in California. The frame is lugged Columbus steel with chrome drop outs and includes an avocet headset. There are a few scratches and dings on the frame from daily use but the bike has never been crashed and there is no rust. There is also a "world bicycle relief" sticker on the top tube that can be easily removed, it is an honorable organization however. The frame is kind of dirty as you can see in the pictures. Frankly, I am too lazy to clean it but a little soap and warm water will clean it right up. If you wish to build it up as a road bike I do have a box with the original Suntour derailleurs, downtube shifters, Sakae SX cranks, and Diacompe brake calipers that I will give you for an extra 30 bucks. If you want it I can meet you just about anywhere in the city. Please email me with any question and I will get back to you right away.

90s Bianchi Columbus TSX frameset!

EXACT same frame I have on my build (mine is in celeste), really stellar ride:

https://cgi.ebay.com/Bianchi-Reparto-...5#ht_500wt_901

I felt pretty good coming away from ebay with mine for sub-$200 shipped. Maybe someone else could score a steal on a great frame??

Currently $49 (+$45 ship), ZERO bids.

It was in relatively good shape .. dirty, a little bit of rust on the top tube cable housing guide. Mavic rims, Dura Ace hubs, the rest Super Record. A pretty blue with those unmistakeable Sachs decals.. It was listed as $500 or best offer. So I offered $500 ... no deal, the seller decided to hold out for a "best" offer. He turned it into an auction!

At that point I was just so pissed I left. Maybe someone here on C&V else offered more ..

Ha! I didn't like that shade of blue anyway!!

Matt, wrong tubing for a Pro?

and yes, when something looks to good to be true, a $500 Richard Sachs, it usually is.

Vintage Eddy Merckx bike - $200 (tally)

I was given an Eddy Merckx but I am not really into riding. I did a little research and I found that these bikes can be quite desirable/collectable. Like most things, I am sure there are good Merckx and not so good Merckx. I don't know which I have but I would like to sell it to someone who would appreciate it for what it is. I really don't know much about them at all. It is not in perfect shape but I feel pretty good. All parts are present and functional. Some surface rust on crome cable bands and water bottle holder. Crome toe clips and leather straps.

Asking $200 Plus buyer pays shipping if they are not local.

Sheldon Brown:
"The Falcon precursor Merckx bikes are often dismissed as poor quality, but they appeared in a similar range of models to the Falcon line. In 1974, Falcon offered a top of the line Merckx Super Competition #102 (All Reynolds 531 DB, long point lugs, oval fork blades, Nuovo Record derailers; Record crank, Campagnolo brakes, Brooks saddle, Cinelli bars and stem, chrome fork crown and tips-virtually the same specs as the comparable San Remo), a Giro D'Italia #104 (Reynolds DB with Prugnat Lugs, Campagnolo derailers, cotterless crank but with centerpull brakes), Kermesse, #106 (plain gauge Reynolds), Competition #100 (same as 102, but w/o the Campagnolo brakes), 2 ladies models, a junior racer (white or orange) and entry level bike (red or orange) with std (not tubular) rims."

Bikes: Was Fuji and got my grails (Pro, Pro SR, Design Series, & Ti). Now I hunt 50's and older road bikes.

Didn't pay attention to the tubing, I was too busy skimming for the size. Good catch!

Still, if I lived near Inland Empire, wherever that is, I would think that the bike was still worth checking on.

I am putting this up as a feeler. Was going to build this bicycle up but have come across a newer frame and am willing to part with this one for the right price. It will come with the majority of a Ultegra 600 tri colour group not installed, however everything is in great shape and ready to be put together.

The frame is made of Columbus Aelle tubing 60cm bb-tt centre to centre (will confirm size later). The bicycle comes with it's original Miche crank/fr.-rr. derailleur/pedals/chain/brake levers/quill stem/ drop bars/miche headset/suntour indexed downtube shifters etc. The quill adapter/31.8 stem/ergo bars shown in the pic are not included. The Rolf Vector comp. wheels are also not included.

What is included:
600 Ultegra tri-colour Groupset including
-8spd. STI shift/brake levers
-front derailleur
-rear derailleur
-175mm crank w/biopace 52/42 rings (if I am not mistaken)
-brand new brake calipers w/ pads
Matrix Iso C wheels w/ 600 tri colour hubs 36 hole (7 speed casette) w/ bontrager 700x25c tires like new
New Kalloy seatpost
New SRAM 8spd chain
New Shimano 105 italian threaded bottom bracket
New downtube stops/adjusters

Email for any questions or additional pictures. The price is $600
