Here's a titanium bike that I'm not looking for... with a "cosmetic ding" on the top tube. But the seller says "frame integrity not affected" so I guess all is peachy

Not the cheapest, but Jack Taylors don't come around every day around here...

Jack Taylor Cycles was the frame-building collaboration between the 3 Taylor brothers, Jack, Norman and Ken of Stockton-On-Tees, England. A range of frames for touring and racing was produced under the marque from 1936-2001, and they are considered by many to be the closest thing Britain has to a French-style "constructeur" a la Herse and Singer etc. Well-known for beautifully clean lug-less ("welded", or fillet brazed) construction (a method which rose out of necessity during the war years - lugs simply weren't available) as well as for lugged frames, and impeccable box and lug lining.
This bicycle was made in 1990. It is 1 out of 24 made in that year.
We currently have no use for this bike and it just sits in our garage and takes up space. We would like to find someone who would appreciate and make use of this bike.
We are asking for $1000 OBO. The reason we are asking this price is due to the uniqueness of this model.

Lightweight Japanese Miyata 1200 road bike -58cm..5'9up - $295
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...119638329.html

Not sure of the year, 1983 maybe? I believe the 1200 was Miyata's top of the line model that year. No rack or fender mounts, this is a pure race bike.
Surprising there's not more interest, but maybe no one wants to drive out to Antioch.

VINTAGE CHELTENHAM PEDERSEN BIKE BICYCLE "MR. PEDERSEN" - $2500 (NO. DENVER, CO) link

Ad copy is cap-lock afflicted so I'll not cut and paste here.
I didn't realize these came with a standard bike seat, I thought the hammock-style was the only option. Perhaps as a function of intended use?

53cm Follis frameset converted for 650B - $125 + shipping
Here's an interesting one. Omar Khiel of Oasis Custom Cycles has this Follis that he has apparently modified for 650B (canti braze-ons and maybe additional chainstay clearance?) and resprayed. Looks like stamped dropouts so probably not a high-end Follis. Still, very appealing looking frame and affordable. Mght be of interest to somebody on here. (Link help appreciated).

1985 spec ST500 Cannondale - $165 Lancaster PA
https://lancaster.craigslist.org/bik...105690476.html

600 Tricolor!!!
I've been communicating with this guy selling it for his dad for a week. It's a 1984 per the serial # but appears to be an '85 model based on the colorway and components. It looks to be in awesome shape and the seller worked hard with me to figure out what he had. I did advise him that the same exact bike is selling in Philly for $300.
Someone here should snatch this thing up before I regret not just suffering through a standover that's 2" higher than my inseam!

Too bad there's not some Ronco device that allows people to ride bicycle frames that are too tall. I would own several.

I have a Specialized Allez with a 23 inch frame. The 700c wheels are true and the continental gator skin tires are in good shape. The 21 speed Shimano is complete with matching brakes and the gears shift very smoothly. The thumb shifters are very convenient and move easily through the gears. The brakes are tight and the bike is a great ride. 207-332-4524, I am open to cash or trade

Hi-Ten Bottecchia? I've always heard they put out a lot of low-end models, this could be one of them. No tubing sticker makes me assume the worst, but why chrome the lugs on gas pipe? Maybe the bike predates tubing stickers, but I always assume the worst in CL ads.
Geometry looks very much of the "sport"type, rather than for racing. Nice crankset, but clearly overpriced.
