Nice bike!

I was on CL yesterday morning and probably exited moments before this ad was posted. I got on BF about three hours later and saw your post and attempted to reach the seller. Knew at that price it was probably already too late and we'll probably see a flipper's ad soon but the bike is my size and I thought I'd give it a try even though the geometry suggests it's no better for my needs than the RB-T I recently sold.
No response from the seller, by the way.
No response from the seller, by the way.

Also, since the hive is obviously operational, I'm looking for a 'sport touring' geometry setup, aluminum is possible with a steel fork of course (Cdale ST?), with a longer top tube relative to the seat tube. Likely candidates thus far: anything early Lemond, ST's, early Bianchi's, apparently some of the Centurions - although the 58cm Elite RS I just got is just a bit too big, rideable but not feeling sweet the way I expected. That could also however be b/c of the bent fork I discovered once home, total newb move there. Working on getting that fixed but not sure it'll work out in long run. I'm used to dirt bikes I can only climb on from a stump and can't actually kick start with my stub appendages (true story) so the crotch clearance ain't the issue, it's just that the frame honestly rides darn tall for how much reach I finally get out of the barely 57cm top tube. Only proper fitting I ever had was on my past life CX Kona Jake '11 which was a 53 for a competitive fit (still a 55 top tube though on that frame). So yea, 53-56 seat with somewhat relaxed angles and a 57+ top is what I'm in search of. There I ended with a preposition!

Facilitator help needed outside Pittsburgh: https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/bi...128255708.html I'm in DC and can Venmo/PayPal. Might need you to hold onto it for up to 5 days (pending birth so my leash is short!). Been looking for one for a while.

Well, I was gunning for fit... rumour mill said that this would fit my ape-ish build better than the Centurion I'm on right now. I've got bottom barrel components (a swapped on 1st gen tourney combo) on there right now and it works just fine ;-). So you're thinking pass anyway, eh?

Univega Gran Rally. 56cm, $240. Judging by the chainrings I don't think this bike had much time on the pavement.
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/...129704201.html

Jamis Quest, 57cm, $210. This obviously was ridden a good amount and needs some work... but it's a nice 631 reynolds frame with a 105 groupset.

I was excited for about 2 seconds: Specialized Expedition for $60?
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bik...129792358.html
did not know they re-used the name for something entirely different.

This is the bike I'm looking for (Imperial Stormtrooper's voice). Too bad there's no photo and 3,000 miles away.

Paramount in Wyoming
Somewhere around Laramie, I guess: https://boulder.craigslist.org/bik/d...124704888.html. Maybe the seller is willing to ship -- otherwise, chances are good you the buyer have a long drive.
Has an odd mix of Dura-Ace and Campy bits, but the paint job is pretty sweet:

especially when compared to the others... I guess it's all about the paint. Something seems mighty "iffy" about the CB, the steel surface under the paint does not look in "factory" condition to me. Respray over minimal prep, maybe? Seems a shame, if so. Lugs, and detailing look nice. The Alan Guerciotti is gorgeous, just what I'm looking for... at half the price, and not expecting NOS. Sweet project if the $$ was not an issue. Saronni at $800, seems a bit steep.

I'm lucky that Paramount is like 1900 miles away from me.... that thing is all kinds of cool. I even love the hodgepodge of parts.... a pedigreed mutt.

$150 for this Trek 400 with Deore only a train's ride from Seattle during the great bike boom/bat wing plague of 2020 seems like a really good deal.

Surprised no one has bought this cute little Condor in Portland. Seems like it's been up a while.

Appears that Superflu pricing has not hit Portland yet. Several really nice mid-sized $300 bikes out there.
