Neither classic, nor vintage, nor cheap, but I know some people are always interested in purchasing actual team bikes, so...

Who knew a presta valve was "special"? Bike probably needs a "special" wrench to adjust the saddle or the stem.

A cursory Google Images search leads me to believe it's legit (but missing the gas tank). Any Schwinn experts care to weigh in?

The cable routing caused by missing housing, combined with the "26" (instead of 700) in the add title suggests seller has no idea what he or she has.
I suspect seller is also frustrated because bike shifts poorly (if at all) without that cable housing piece (I've never tried that so can't comment beyond guessing it won't work). I think someone could get that bike for a good price.

1973 Frejus 58.5cm - $850 (Kenmore)

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...134579214.html

Beautiful 1973 Frejus for sale. Reynolds 531. All Campy except ultra-cool NOS Universal CX brakes, fresh out of the box. Regina Oro 5 speed cluster extremely low miles, and a NOS Regina ORO Competition drilled chain. Campy bar end shifters, downtube shifters available if you want them. Cinelli bar and stem, original ttt bar and stem comes with it.

Top condition. Desirable color. A few tiny scratches.
Fiamme Ergal tubular wheels, tires Clement Futur kinda old but rideable for short spins.

I bought it a few years ago hoping I could ride it but it's just too small.

Actually, if I'm reading the Disraeli Gears article correctly, there is no housing back there. But there's supposed to be a guide (last pic on the VeloBase listing) clamped to the chainstay, that points the open cable more directly into the radiused guide. That's what's missing, and is indeed probably making it shift poorly.

(Wait, but the seller says the "book ride good".....)

As for tire/wheel size, it's three sizes at the same time -- article mentions 26, 27 AND 700. That's gotta set a new record. Definitely a toss between a "looking for this" and a wacky-world.
