Pro Miyata! Includes a Miyata bottle!

Those wheels look wrong. But that's a heck of a price if it's undamaged. Good one food there wee folks.

Older carbon was overbuilt. It's likely fine as long as the paint is undamaged. Biggest complaint I hear is that old carbon feels 'dead' with poor "road-feel". I'm not enough of a connoisseur to notice much of a difference.

25.5" Trek 7nn? Joe Bell refinish, $300

Maybe this is an '82 730/736, or an '83 760. Can anyone tell by the lugs and BB shell?

Here is one you don't see often, a '81 Nuovo Touring. 3 main tubes Columbus DB with a Gipiemme triple crank, Shimano 600 EX derailleurs and DiaCompe alloy centerpulls. $625 seem steep though for a bike that I believe sold for around $550 to 600. https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/b...140315919.html

Might Roll Right Out - Good Bits

57cm Beater Bike / Campagnolo Reynolds 531 Carbon parts bike - $180 (Mechanicsville)

Posted 2020-06-13 19:37

"Selling this bike for its approximate parts value. There are dents in the top tube, 1 is significant. It seems it can be ridden fine as is but have no idea how long frame will last without repair. Good thing is itís steel so it could last a while. Lite weight Bradley custom frame with all Campagnolo parts (mostly Chorus). Reynolds 531 steel frame & carbon fork. Iím sure this bike cost well over $1000 when it was new & feels like it weighs under 20 lbs. Ride it for a while or part it out.

bicycle frame material: steel

bicycle type: road
frame size: 57cm
wheel size: 700C"

Dang- that's a Bradly - the "production" line of a former custom builder located outside of Columbus, OH. Yeah, that TT dent is bad, but for $180?? Grab that!
He'd replace that tube for not much $.

Anyone has experience owning or riding a Marin Sausalito bicycle? Looks to be in decent shape and is only $90 - a bargain.

Strange?
Posts @ $1 then is less than courteous, selling " for a client"... Probably unwilling to do any homework ( like check eBay) to find reasonable valuation. Lazy sod. No t that... I read the ad.
All Original? It's a rust-bucket, missing a chain and freewheel too. Probably sawn off, rusted solid, look at those bolts & spokes. Just kinda rude, especially for a service business. Funny, the frame looks ok. Chromed underneath?

Yeah I say "strange" in that the ad keeps saying "for a client" as if some kind of professional broker was selling it but the pictures and presentation are total crap.

^^^^^ This is why Craigslist has "by owner" and "by dealer" classifications. If you're using CL as a business, and operate honestly, you post "by dealer" and pay for your ads, and this keeps CL free for the "by owner" folks. Does BookFace have anything similar? If so, should this guy be posting in the equivalent of "by dealer"?

totally agree. so if over the course of a few days we all feed him a series of "i'd totally give you 175/225/200/150 for it in that condition..." bids (or whatever it's worth) he might start getting a sense that it's not the $1000 payday he's hoping it is. and maybe concede to one of the bids!

Pinarello in Brooklyn NY $300

Get the right bars and brake levers back on and you have a cheap Pinarello. In Brooklyn NY

https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/b...141748798.html

Great vintage Pinarello bike in really good condition. Rides really smooth and the brakes/tires are basically new. I replaced them about 8 months ago and never even rode on them.

Chain and gears work great and the bike itself is super light.

I believe its classified as either a track or a road bike but that's my best guess

I would also throw in the bike lock and wall mount we have since we won't be needing it anymore

We're going to be moving and wont be able to take it with us
