Is it just went up to $249? How is Fuji Touring? Just found a 1983 Fuji Supreme for $100, not very familiar with Fuji but have too much rust and appears to be entry level.

Nothing wrong with it, I just have two other bikes and hardly ride this one. Its just taking up space. 90obo. looking to get rid of it this weekend.

Here is a nice Vintage bike https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/bik/1822208589.html

Gently restored 1913 Mead Ranger bicycle. New Departure hubs, Aristocrat saddle, wood rimes, new stainless spokes, frame was cleaned only, no repaint. Tires are modern tubular cyclocross. Originals were dry rotted. Many more photos of before and after available. Just ask.

Nice Centurion road bike frame for tall rider (62 cm, or 24”) - $35 (Dorchester)

Date: 2010-07-01, 3:46PM EDT
Reply to: sale-yp2d5-1821172120@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

I got this bike frame from a friend some time ago. I was thinking of rebuilding it, but this is just a bit too tall for me (I am just under 6’) and I have too many bikes already. It’s best suited for someone over 6’ tall.

It’s a CR-MO steel frame made of Tange Infinity tubes, which was considered fairly high-end material 25 years ago. This bike that was barely ridden. It comes as seen on the picture: the frame, the fork, headset, handlebars, seat post, and front and back wheels. Everything is in good shape about it, except for the rear wheel which has a number of loose spokes (I don’t think that the back wheel is salvageable, unless you are an expert at wheel truing).

Again, it is a seen on the picture; brakes, cranks, bottom bracket, derailleurs, shifters and seat are NOT included. I’d say this frame is best suited for someone who already has a bunch of spare components available, or wants to build a single speed etc.

I am asking $35 firm for it. It’s in Dorchester, very near the Fields Corner Red line T stop. You can take it back with you on the train (during off-rush hour) if you don’t feel like riding it back all the way home.

If interested, please call me (Vivian), at 617 290 5822

Moto Gran Jubilé slipping by under the radar???

Check this out. The seller definitely has missed the dating, and I think he has a Gran Jubilé on his hands and not a Grand Touring. Looks like the remains of a 531 decal on the seat tube to me. TA cranks, Huret front derailleur (which means nothing as my GT did come with one), and the color scheme is right for many GJs I have seen. If it were my size, I would jump on it. As it is, hope someone here can snag it.

Here's an interesting possibility, if its condition puts off other bidders: Jack Taylor decaled (in a deconstructivist, end of days way) bike with Campy Record and Superbe RD. It's obviously been repainted, either killing the original decals or a botch while installing new ones. The details on the frame indicate that whatever it is, it's a high-quality one.

A couple of good photos and a lot of time with Photoshop and you might be able to restore that, although it would probably be simpler to replicate it with a drawing program.

The guy still has this listed as a 'Campagnolo' but it's a Rossin. It's not my thing (or my size) so if it's yours, have at it. Seller seems like a nice guy and will look at whatever you want, but knows nothing about bikes, as he'll be the first to tell you. He is no fool though. He seems quite amused at the prices Campagnolo parts go for. Supposedly there is already an offer of $900, take that for what it's worth. I know, I know, CL isn't an auction, I'm just passing on the info.

Some nice-looking bikes in this lot, including the Robin Hood and the wee Raleigh--I think had that bike and threw it over for my first ten-speed! The Centurion mixte looks kind of cool to me too--nice lugs--though I don't know anything about them...

I just went to see this family today. I bought the mixte for a princely sum of twenty dollars. The Raleighs and Robin Hoods are pretty beat - but the 3-speed hubs on the womens' bicycles seem to work pretty well. The mens' bike is a bit rusty. The Ventura bicycle has a Shimano 600 rear derailleur, and the front has a Shimano 60. The brakes a tourney centerpulls. The Brooks saddle on the Blue-Green Raleigh is pretty beat. The seller's name is Lois - she's a very nice lady. Don't try to gouge her, lol.
