Step-thru Eddy Merckx (!), with a Campagnolo mountain bike crank (!!!) (aaaaand a possibly damaged frame, but still....)
https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...173521639.html

***PLEASE NOTE small ripple in seat tube just above top tube. I believe this damage to be caused by the top tube pressing into the seat tube, likely from a rider too heavy or roads too rough. I would still ride this bike with confidence, but be your own judge*

Interesting how they handled the seat tube lugs. Top one is a standard lug with the top tube portion cut out. Lower one is another seat tube lug that’s been flipped and cut away.

Posting because I've never heard of this brand and no entries on BF for it.
Cool seat and cool levers at least. On FB people just put "27 bike" or size "27 Bike" for any bike with 27 inch tires.
ps probably a 10 speed as people on FB don't count either.
27" Fortan Road Bike
Buffalo, NY
$100"Older French made 12 speed bike. Bike has been gone thru, rebuilt, and tuned. Tires are new and bike in great mechanical condition. Great ride. $100."

Offering my 1985 Specialized Rockhopper, first year they were produced. The bicycle is original down to the tires, everything is original to the bike, it has not been restored. Suntour shifting group, Shimano cantilever brakes and levers, Saturae solid axle hubs laced to X28 aero hoops. Specialized cold-forged "flag" crankset. Shimano PD-MX15 pedals, Avocet Touring II saddle, Grab On grips. The original Mitsuboshi made Specialized TriCross tires are still on the bike, although I will toss in another set of period correct vintage tires to go with it. Asking $250 cash paid in my Renton driveway, which I think is a very good bargain on this thing. these classics are in high demand, and for good reason! They simply don't make them like they used to! These first-year rock operas are rare, you'll see 10 Stumpjumpers before you find another one of these, and the differences between the two are pretty negligible. $250 cash, come and get it, you won't regret it

There's a broken Fastab in my shed - crack 2/3rds of the way around the bottom of the seat tube and BB shell. I was thinking of making a sleeve that would just fit inside, drilling some holes as braze windows and giving it to the local frame guy.

2003 is only sort of C+V but this is a good price for a Look KG381, depending on the condition. And honestly, C+V or not, French CF (Look/Time/Vitus/TVT) is always cool.
Knowing the market, expect to see this for sale for $1200 in a week or so.

Frame size - LOOK designation: 54
Seat tube: 54 cm
Top tube: 55.6 cm
Headtube length: 147 mm [162mm including integrated HS cap]
Seat tube angle: 72.5
Headtube angle: 72
Groupset: 2004/2005 Campagnolo Centaur 10 speed Ergopower, Century Grey finish
Crankset: FSA Gossamer Light alloy compact 10 speed (new bearing installed Jan 2014)
Wheelset: Handbuilt wheels made by Mike Garcia of Odds & Endos
Speedcific hubs, Kinlin XR300 rims, bladed spokes 24 front/28 rear
Brand New Continental UltraSport 25mm Tires
Saddle: Selle Italia Flite TT with Ti rails
Seatpost: Thomson 25.0 diameter
Handlebars: FSA Gossamer Wing Compact Road 31.8x42mm
Stem: Ritchey Comp 4 Axis: 90mm, 84/96d, 31.9
Extras: Swiss-Stop GHP brake pads, sealed bearing derailleur pulleys, LOOK top cap
Condition: 8.5 - 9/10
The frame is largely free of nicks, scratches or blemishes. All the logos are in excellent condition. As the photos show there are a few chips in the clear coat on the underside of the down tube and one on the top tube. Nothing glaring or obvious but want to be accurate in the description. Bike weighs 18.5 with pedals (not included) & water bottles cages.
The Centaur group set works flawlessly. This model year Campagnolo provides for multiple upshifts AND downshifts with a single lever throw or push of the thumb shifter. As shown in the photos, there are scratches on both brifters. The crankset and chain rings are in great condition & the Mega-Exo bearings were replaced in Jan 2014.
Knowing the market, expect to see this for sale for $1200 in a week or so.

Used Trek 330 road bike for sale. Steel frame. Needs new tires and tubes, and could use new handlebar tape and to have the gears and chain re-oiled. Comes with U-lock (mounted, see photo, with key) and cable. FYI this bike has a downtube shifter.
The bike has been in storage for essentially the past five years. Before then, I was riding it regularly, and it was in great shape.

Putting up this speedy redone Cannondale SR600 for sale! This bike is fast, responsive, and light. Functions excellent both as a city commuter and as a road mile machine. Great for a taller rider who's 5'-8 or above, which is why I have to find a new home for it.
I've ridden it for a handful of errand runs and bike path rides, replacing/tuning things up along the way:
- Nitto stem, flared Sakae Champion Randonneur bars for extra comfort in the drops
- Brand new State Bicycle Co. retro brown saddle
- New color-coordinated Tektro brake levers and Origin8 bar tape
- Brand new shifter and brake cabling
- Shimano 105 brakes and indexed shift system (downtube 2x7 with a satisfying click, shifts great except for noise in one gear)
- Front tire swapped to 28c with a new tube for a smoother ride
- I can throw in SPD pedals for free if you'd like to try them on it.
Located near Davis, but willing to deliver for someone who's really interested. It's been amazing to work on, and I want to help send it to a loving home.
