Rossin is a solid value, early '80s and full SR with Modolo Professional brakes (they're an upgrade). $750 size 54 nice looking pearl paint. Not a steal, but ready to ride. Rossin, building great race-designed bikes, fun to ride.

That's fine, but it's part of a word, not a full word. The site is (I think) implemented in PHP, which supports regular expressions (REs). The bad word filter might well be written using REs (if not, it should be). Matches should include the word boundary pattern (\b) to avoid messing up stuff like URLs. (Strangely enough, it failed to slide the first instance, but miles the others.)

From Humboldt Couny Craigslist:
Nishiki Olympic 12 - $165

The COVID tax is strong with this $600 Miyata. (May have been a cross frame?)

And, last but most... this $800 PX10. It's a nice bike, but dang... it ain't $800 nice. COVID tax? More like Ebola tax!

Speaking to the censorship surrounding bike sales, Craigslist recently changed what you can search for. Usually you can search for treks by the model number on Craigslist but not anymore with the 420, even in states where pot is legal you cannot search for ‘420’ when looking for a vintage bike

Actually, for the level of bike this appears to be, at about $200US, in the current market that's VERY reasonable. But with just a single photo, zero detail information, and a bike that can't even be test-ridden, s/he'll be lucky if it doesn't languish for a while. Bike shops are booked solid, and people want "ready to ride".
Today I dropped off a 27in rear wheel for a friend in need. On way back saw a garage sale and pulled in and discovered it was the seller who had this Miele (and a second one) for sale. I looked it over as another person said he bet it was "worth $1500". I suggested $150 max.
The drive side pedal spindle was seized (shows signs of having been beaten in an attempt to remove and non-drive side is missing. This bike equipped with very dirty 300 Exage and second bike was RX-100.
Seller approached and said both bikes were $250 and that the rear wheel on the Alfa came from the 2nd bike. He then said that he knew nothing about bikes. I asked if the seat post and bar stem were loose and he replied he didn't know what they were. I pointed out the stem and he said he didn't care, that they were $250 with the parts loose or stuck and walked away from me.
I turned to the other person who thought they were expensive bikes and smiled and said, "Run, run like hell" and drove away.
Sorry if anyone thought they were worth the drive.

MKM with a ding on the top tube. middle of the top tube is probably the safest place for your bike to get dinged, but worth noting.
Full 531 and some gorgeous lugs, though. Shimano Crane is a bonus.
https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/b...175812246.html

1975 MKM, made in Harrogate England by MKM cycles.
https://www.mkm-cycles.co.uk/
53cm seat tube, 53 cm top tube, measured center to center. 32 inch standover.
Lugged Reynolds 531 steel tubing.
Suntour shifters
Campagnolo front mech
Shimano Crane rear mech
Sugino Mighty Competition crankset
Campagnolo track pedals
Arius Professional saddle
New chain, cables, and bar tape.
Bearings serviced, smooth.
22.2 lbs
Ready to ride. Sporty handling and fast.
Small dent in top tube, minor paint blemishes.
Wheels are functional but should be replaced soon.
Good for a rider about 5'4 - 5'8". I am 5'9" and I prefer a bigger bike.

This'87 Circuit is the model just next to the highly esteemed Paramount and compares favorable with the best mass produce Italian bikes such as Colnago, Thomasini and Benotto. 53cm American made lugged double butted Columbus steel frame with understated satin black paint, chromed chainstays and an adjustable rear dropout. fits riders 5'5" to 5'9" +/-. Cinelli stem and handlebars, Suntour Sprint groupo except for a long cage Ultegra rear derailleur and lovely Dia-Compe Royal Compte brakes. Thoughfully updated by a rider/mechanic for fast non-racing riding with wider range 13/28 7 speed gearing, a 50/39 chainring replacement, and wider 28 cm Specialized tires, and new snakeskin high grip handlebar tape. Superby fast yet comfortable ride quality. Green pedals can be replace with SPD or vintage platform style with toe clips.
A bit small for me or I would keep it.
Please respond with name and phone number if you want a reply. Cash in person transaction only.

Vintage Masi Bicycle with Campagnolo Groupo BRIGHT red with chrome fork
and chainstay.
CIAO !!!! I am selling my amazing 2 wheel work of art because I never use it.
Looks very similar to the bicycle in Breaking Away movie
Please read entire listing before responding because I list measurements and minor
issues.
I do not know the year or model because of missing decals.
I believe it is a late 80s Nuova Strada. Real Steel.
The previous owner said he pieced it together from parts.
The bottom bracket has a 3 digit number and yellow triangle.
It may also be a repaint, just looking at some of the scratches and bits, maybe just how it was hand made.
Masi Vintage Steel Bicycle
Bright red
14 speeds
Chrome fork and right chainstay
Super light - it really flies
Approximate weight is 19 pounds.
Lightweight Selle Italia seat
Campagnolo groupo everything: crank, pedals, seat post, brake levers
derailleurs, headset, shift levers, hubs, skewers, shift levers, calipers and even brake pads are all Campy.
Handlebars unknown because they are wrapped, but says 3ttt on the neck
54 CM frame because there is a 54 stamped on the
bottom bracket. Also 3 digit serial number at top.
Approx measurements:
BB to seat is 21 1/2", 54cm
BB to middle head tube is 24", 61cm
Top tube, 30 1/2" 78 1/2 cm
Seat to head is 21", 53 1/2 cm
Handle bars 15" center to center
170 cranks
700cm rims
ISSUES:
First, this bike is probably over 30 years old, so the decals are peeling and there are
some spots where paint is scratched
Chrome has patina / rust. Photos of stickers are from 2 years ago, they are all gone now.
Brake lever hoods are cracked, i have replacement hooods.
One of the pedal end caps are missing
Tires are like new, but tubes leak air.
Rear wheel needs minor truing.
The front derailleur chain rod is missing.
Biggest issue is one of the cranks has a few crossed threads on the outside.
Should be an easy fix to thread chase.
Asking $575
Phone call or email only, I do not answer texts.
Located in Newton / Waltham / Watertown.
Thank you.
