This one is an awesome buy-it-now IF you can either go get it or find a facilitator! To my eye, it's a very clean example - 62 cm, which is alas, too big for me!

A very nice A-D Vent Noir.
$800, but if you've gotta have one...

I post these when I see one with a nice tall stack. A great candidate for a drop bar conversion right here!

Very nice pretty bike. I always liked the way they looked, especially that crank. The Simplex components are garbage though.

I still kick myself for selling my 56 cm Bianchi Volpe from this year. I see it around town every so often, but never in a way that I can stop and ask its current owner if he'd like to sell it ...

Talk about overpriced! It's just a Hardrock. Since we seem to be at the tail-end of the buying craze, I doubt he'll get asking.

Lol I wasn't kidding when I was lamenting earlier over the high prices on the used bike market here. Must be a Yankee thing, because everyone here (in New England) is either seriously misinformed, or they value their stuff with such high regard.

I had to edit this to clarify that I'm not out to give someone a screwing, but good deals are far and few between right here in this locale.

This bike is trying so hard to be celeste. It's like it needs a heart to heart to let it know that we love it just the same, no matter what color it was painted.

Bianchi Superleggera Columbus SLX Steel Frame & Fork Celeste Frameset $450

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bop...197931171.html

Seems a little pricey, but Bianchi must not have sold very many of these, because I almost never see the high end Bianchis for sale used, so I suppose the rarity makes them all the more valuable.

I'm thinking the exact same, and this is a nice specimen. But I already have the '72 version in 58cm with the older downtube logo. Sure, a little taller like this would be nice but - nah, I'm good. Someone should snag it.

DItto my comments about the Raleigh above. I have a 71 PX-10E that is way too small for me, it belonged my cycling mentor - it was his bike back then that I admired so much and he gave it to me some 40 years later. I can't part with it, but I don't ride it either. WOuld I ride one that fits? I kinda doubt it. Do I have room? Absolutely not. I'm already over capacity. Trying hard to convince myself here....

This seems like a good NYC-prices deal for an old Atala city bike that still looks almost new. (I kept expecting to see that it was actually some new retro model, but the cottered crank finally convinced me. Unless I'm wrong about that.)
