$250 Grizzly, no drive shot (would have been a Deore group, iirc) but looks in good shape from the one listed picture.

Dawes Londoner. Small. Drillium. Reynolds 531st. Looks like Cyclone MkII (or ARX?) with Powershift. If not for an 86-mile drive one-way I'd be all over this thing for parts. $85 ask.

Perhaps the steal of the day! I picked up this one today locally for $85. Listed last night on Facebook. Needs some work. Minor dent on the top tube and the front brake is misaligned or bent. Campy drivetrain. Serial number starts with WK7 which tells me it was built at the Workshop in July 1977.

2 should have been worth at least that but I think these have summited their long run for the most part, they just don't seem to bring the good money they used to.

That being said, of course a couple have sold recently on efbay for more than they should have, go figure.

In the realm of you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it buy a screaming deal on a classic road bike:
I stopped by the LBS to scope out the used rack yesterday after a long ride with a buddy and there sat a mint '84 MIyata 1000 tourer.
For $185.
It was too large for me but hey, it would fit said riding buddy so I dashed back to his house to give him the heads-up.
He ended up passing on it.
Sigh.

Yes, I'm sure. I was working for Trek in Waterloo when the OP's bike was built. No production Trek frames or forks were chromed. The frame in your picture was either a show bike or aftermarket chromed. The components are a dog's breakfast from many sources and years.
