Looks like a Raleigh Team Pro track. No price listed, but it was posted on Facebook for $500.

Beautiful looking De Bernardi with clean 600 stuff. I know nothing about these but seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Trek 700 Multi Track on Craigslist, good deal?

I wanted to find a cheap bike to clean up, build some technical skills and knowledge.
I found a red Trek 700 Multi Track. Condition is good, some paint chips, dirty, tires look serviceable for a while at least.

From the vintage Trek site, it could be 93 or 97.
if nothing else, it'll give me a good number of hours tinkering, learning ,etc.

$65. Thoughts?

I'm working on trying to attach photo.

I'm not even a big fan of Merckx frames but that is a decent bargain.

Modern wheels look a little out of place, and the stem even moreso. The basket looks kind of "paper boy". Lugs are downright yummy.

Decals are crooked and the paint looks cheesy. That would drop the price to >$400 to me.

Ritchey Rd Logic - $250 (san mateo)

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/bik/d/san-mateo-ritchey-rd-logic/7208285949.html

Flipper bait. I just saw a Ritchey Logic Road bare frame on Ebay for $2k. Probably overpriced, but this bike is basically NOS, as far as I can tell. I can easily see someone buying it, putting road bars on it, and asking for 3x $250.

What years were these made? Were they common?

It's interesting that the propulsion and steering (right) are in the handles.

If you don't want to click through and puzzle it out, the right drive lever has a parallel rod which looks like it steers by twisting the handle. The setup looks like it decreases the mechanical advantage, so this thing likely steers like a barge. OTOH, you'll have unparalleled arm musculature (plus a popeye style right forearm).

Nice bike and a nice deal. I'm mostly impressed that someone was able to fit Dia-Comp hoods on Universal brake levers. Not sure why they felt the need though, those old Universals are nice without hoods imo.
