Vintage R.E.Reynolds bicycle for sale - $900

"Vintage (with updated components) R.E Reynolds bicycle for sale. This is an unusual and one of a kind bicycle. The frame is a 1972 custom made R.E.Reynolds frame hand crafted in London. Frame is Reynolds 753 steel with brazed chromed fancy lugs. This is from an era when custom frame shops thrived in England. I have updated the frame with all modern components to turn the bike into a touring machine, especially suited for climbing. I rode the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway on this machine. 475+ miles, 500,000 + feet of climbing.
Bike is equipped with a Sugino triple crank, Shimano long cage derailleur (to allow for a large gear range), carbon fiber fenders, Brooks B-17 saddle, custom lacquered handlebar tape, Shimano reverse bar end shifters, Shimano wheels and Continental tires. All this and it still weighs only 23 lbs. You’ll never see another touring machine like this one. I’m 72 years old, still ride, but need to thin the herd.

Here's a vintage Ritchey Skyliner Tandem from the early 1990s. This frameset came from a member of Ritchey's inner circle of Ritchey Cycling Team players. It was originally set up as a combo road/MTB and ridden lovingly for years before being put in storage. It has a distinctive red/white/blue color scheme and is in excellent shape. It has been refurbished back to a MTB configuration using period correct and, when possible, original Ritchey components.
It is a 3 x 8 group with matching Brake calipers, integrated Deore shifters, original crankset with eccentric bottom bracket. Ideally this would have Avocet saddles. I've installed some generic saddles that don't match vintage and can go with the bike if you'd like.
The condition is fantastic--a real collectors bike. Check out the pictures and contact me with any questions.
$1,695/reasonable offer

This should be a crime! Hard to tell is it is a X4 but I believe the marking should be on the right (drive) side of the brake bridge. Bianchi USa never cataloged a Argentine painted SLX frame but it is nevertheless a great frame.

This was originally a Bianchi team bike, made in their reparto corse division. Very light for a steel frame.
