If this was 400 miles closer I'd go get it. Little far for sight unseen.

You know that bike wants to go home to Arizona. Sadly, the seller fell ill with a couple of weeks ago and promised to reach out when he was better. I'd be happy to facilitate the sale by picking it up for someone, though.

For sale is my 1992 Schwinn Paramount Series 5 PDG (55cm—good for someone 5’9”-6’)
Wheels: Dura Ace hubs laced to Mavic rims.
Tires: (Thickslick) front and Vittoria (rear), both very fast and with lots of life left in them.
Bars: Masi Breve track bars (can put stock drops back on with new grip tape)
Stem: Origin8 (can put stock stem back on too)
Frame: Tange tubing (OS—oversized)
It’s a super fast, light, responsive steel frame bike, the top of Schwinn’s racing line. It’s got slight wear from regular use but no rust and is generally in fantastic shape.
Bottom bracket and rear hub recently overhauled with brand new bearings, and front hub overhauled at a shop not long ago. Chain is also relatively new, in great shape.
This is an amazing bike, super cool look (paint splatters done by hand at the Waterford factory), comfy, fast, and fun to ride.
$450 OBO, cash or Venmo.

Pretty, pretty bike. We have too many bikes, and don't usually do aluminum, but this is tempting. Look at those welds!
ETA: Here's the catalog; it's on pg. 18.

fluck flippers
Dusted off and relisted x4 in Philly, with two images from the internet purporting to show its value, and one non drive side photo. 🙄 (Also, it's a '95, not a '99.)

MIYATA SIX TEN 12 SPEED TOURING ROAD BIKE - $150 (Chicago)
I thought I'd finally do my part and post something after enjoying the pics and commentary here in the C&V forums, but apparently I can't post a photo or a link until I've made 10 posts?!?
So, I guess that I'll just have to say there's a pretty good looking Miyata 610 listed for $150 in Craiglist Chicago with the title: MIYATA SIX TEN 12 SPEED TOURING ROAD BIKE - $150 (Chicago)
Not sure that front brake is really "working perfectly," but overall this looks like a good deal for a 610--especially when you can buy 12 speeds and get 6 free! And I'm curious as to what saddle is under that rain cover.
Only 9 more posts like this and I can add a pic and a link!
