I don't know the pre-Trek Lemond lineup well enough to know if this is a good deal, but they are rare enough I figured it's worth posting here.
Mixed groupset, but there is some value there with the DA/Ultegra bits.

Fully lugged hand brazed frame with 100 percent Reynolds 531 tube set. This bike has been sitting in a dark, heated warehouse in Kent for the last 40+ years. It has beed out of the box once to take pictures. The original plastic bag was disintegrating so I got rid of it. It is exactly the way it was shipped from the factory to R.H. Brown (the importer) in 1979. The saddle, as well as the sewn on leather wrapped bars are perfect. The headset, bottom bracket and hubs will likely need the 40 year old grease replaced, but this bike has never been assembled and ridden; not something you will likely ever see again. Even comes with the original frame pump.I would arrange to meet buyer at Wright Bros. Cycle Works in Fremont. Bring $1200 cash and it's yours.

A French Pivo bar and stem along with a beautiful Ideale 2002 saddle. Frame measures 58c-c with a 57c-c top tube. This bicycle is one from personal collection. Spectacular in person. That's a nice bike--- and one that's one my "someday" list! I emailed the seller, and it's a 59 seat tube with a 59 cm top tube-- too stretched out for me. But someone should grab this....
