"Selling my Vintage Italian, Colombus SPX Steel bike. The bike is great condition for it's age; everything is original and in excellent riding shape.
The bike is from the early 80's. It has a full Campagnolo groupset. And Campagnolo récord hubs with Campagnolo Montreal Rims and Continental Grand Grand Prix 4000 tires.
There are a few scrapes and small chips the paint consistent with a used bike but they have been touched up with matching paint and clear coat to keep it rust free.
The bike was recently serviced and shifts and brakes smoothly.
Fits riders 6'0" to 6'4"

I'm intrigued by this bike--love that it's been well cared for by the original owner (who still has the kickstand and pedal reflectors!) since 1973--but am going to pass at this point. It's just a few miles away from me, and I'd be happy to help if anyone wants it.

One question from a relative newcomer to C&V bikes. Is it unusual for an early 70s bike like this to have bar end shifters? I suspected that maybe these were a later "upgrade" but the owner states that all is original, and on closer inspection it looks like there are brazed on cable stops on the downtube.

I had one of these (but mine was called a "Semi-Pro" still had the same features and components IIRC) and I believe the SunTour barcons were stock. That quilted-top saddle looks like OEM, too...it's a relic from the time machine!
