Yep, those other pics are pretty bad. Hard to make out the model, but I think it's a Viva Touring.

Apparently cameras have a hard time focusing on blue Univega touring bikes. Deja vu from this Specialissima that was posted a few pages back (which I ended up purchasing). Thread to come soon with in focus pics and a question about the Suntour Superbe Tech RD on this Specialissima.

I hate the platform, because you can pull results from halfway across the country (like Clang regularly does). There's also no sorting within your search like CL attempts (unfortunately for CL, GIGO).
Book faces saving grace is that the selling platform is turnkey. If you have a FB account, you're set to sell. This is good news for flippers and bargain hunters because a seller doesn't have to think about listing, they can just do it. Prices will be all over, but if you're paying attention you might find a deal. Contrast CL, where people look up what they're selling and seem better informed.

That Peugeot is my size and nice looking too. The Univega hidden behind it would make a nice two for $100.

Relax my dude! FB sucks, but it's asking a lot to have a thread for each platform. Just scroll on by.

I'm trying to avoid hunting down a facilitator for this, as I really don't need any more bikes. But it is gorgeous.

I'm no fan of FB but peruse the ads for all kinds of stuff and found my own Nishiki Cresta GT there a year ago. It's a source with its own set of positives and negatives.

Hey, we're just in this for the bikes anyway, right?

tremendously tall Trek tourer

very large Trek 620 - western Chicago suburbs - $150
https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/b...276266996.html

I think this is a 1984 model, and I would think this must be the 25.5" frame size, no? With that frame, stem and riser bars, it feels like there are about 2' of cable housing from the thumb shifters down to the downtube bosses! But a good price if you're looking for a very tall 531 frameset.

I'd guess 24" frame. I had a 25.5" and it looked taller. We'll probably need someone to buy it or at least go look at it and report back to be certain.,

*Looks at camera roll* "I should include this."

It's extra funny, because even if it was in crisp focus, this is a terrible angle that doesn't provide any useful info.

It’s orange has chrome and Suntour, what else do you need to know?

This is wacky enough I might consider buying them and saying screw the shipping to Canada!

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bop...270096900.html

15 pair of Vintage Bike shoes - $250 (santa rosa)

I would like to sell as a complete package but may separate for the right price. In all 15 pair of New in the Box vintage bicycle shoes. Top brands include:
detto pietro
Saronni
Duegi
Specialized
Avenir
Advocet
Sixsixone
Marresi
Selling the entire lot for only $250
That's only about $16 each. There is a pair included that were made special for the 1984 Los Angles Olympics.

It's a Milanetti. Same as this, this and this.

I suspect it hasn't sold because it's TAAAAAAAAAALLLL. Out of all my guy friends who ride, I only have one who could fit it, and barely. He's 6'7".
