Lugged steel frame, tripple-butted, index-shift 2X7" from the mid 90's. Clean paint with a few nicks, components in good shape, shifts/breaks/rides as it should. Rims are presta, alloy, straight and true. No fuss, durable components. Good tires, clean chain. Has a small tear by one side corner of seat leather.

The PX10 series are probably Peugeot's most famous bike line and classic collectables. This was the top of the PX10 line in 1980 the PXN10E. The PX10s were competitors to the Raleigh Professionals and the finest Italian bikes of the day and would have been ridden in the Tour de France. The Peugeot PXN10E "Super Competition" was the PX10 highest performance bike in the 1980 catalog. The frame and chromed fork were hand built and state of the art and the bike was the showcase for the best of French bicycle components. France had been a leader in bicycle component development but lost its lead to better pricing and dramatically better marketing from Japanese competition.
The frame and forks are hand braised, double butted Reynolds 531 steel using Nervex lugs. The bike is 58cm measured center of crank to center of top tube and called a 60" by peugeot measured center of crank to top of the seat tube. The bike was built with the finest and most innovative French parts. The rims are 700c Mavice red, green and gold labeled "E type" that were the first high performance clincher rims to perform equal to sew-ups later copied by Rigida and Super Champion; the hubs are Maillard 700 Professional "Team Issue"; the headset and crankset, model 106, are Stronglight; the bars and stem are ATAV with the engraved Philip Guidons Franco-Italai bars, Spidel side-pull brakes made for them by Mafac and they look like jewelry, Spidel drilled brake levers; a Simplex seatpost and Peugeot badged Simplex SX410TSP rear and SJA 105 front derailleurs. The forks have chrome socks and crown. The paint has the chips of a used bike but presentable. The saddle is a Brooks Professional as the only known non-original part. The stand over height is 33". It is an affordable collectable historic bike or just a great road bike to ride. The bike has just been serviced and is ready to ride.

My co-worker Brian and I are struggling due to the pandemic, so we came up with an idea. Combine and sell all our bad-ass rare and vintage bike collections to someone who knows and loves Cycling as much as we do.
Campagnolo derailleurs, chains, seat posts, Mavic wheels...You name it, there is a good chance we have it! We have numerous New Old Stock parts (Original boxes, wax paper, instruction manuals).
Kicker is we have 4 Schwinn Paramount's between us! If you know your bike history, these are the jackpot! Oh, forgot to mention 2 are the ultra rare all chromes in near mint condition.
We were hoping to sell items in bulk (not one item at a time). The other day we sold a ton of items to a guy who told us point blank he was going to keep a couple things then sell the rest for double what he paid...that's cool with us!!! Prices are negotiable at the time of sale. Cash only.

53 CM Medici Road Bike.
Early 1980's. Old bike with a lot of mileage, but it handles very well.

Campagnolo Nuevo Record: Hubs, Crankset & Headset,
Shimano Ultegra: 7 speed Shifters, Front and Rear Drailluers, Pedals, Brake Calipers, Freewheel.
Dia Comp break levers
Salsa Chainrings (42-52 w/14-28 cluster)
Cinelli Bars (66 40cm) and Stem (110cm).
SR Laprade seat post.
Mavic QRs.
The Campagnolo parts are original, the Shimano newer.

Described as a 64cm ,marked as 65 cm on bottom bracket so take it from there Columbus Aelle tubing ,giepemme drop outs chrome is decent,paint not bad , decals are horrible but that's how they all are from this era I have a set of new decals but !! That's separate from this sale they are 40.00 that's what they cost me , you know this size frame dosent come around often
