This SR Semi Pro has been knocking around eBay for a bit. I'm surprised it hasn't already disappeared. Maybe it's the $75 shipping price. 62cm frame with a $75 starting bid including cockpit and seems to be a pretty handsome. Could be a nice score for someone in the greater Sacramento area who can pick it up locally.

Okay, the Motobecane is in Joe's friend's SUV. It will be waiting for me at Joe's house. I see handlebars in the photo which weren't in the CL listing. The seller told me this was the last of his French bikes, so he wouldn't need any of the French parts. I wonder what else he might not have mentioned in the ad. If I get in trouble for this purchase, I blame jdawginsc and merziac.

For a spell Specialized Bikes had a love affair with metallic paint.
They did both a metallic blue and red that were edible.
This is the Red AND the Blue
The only drawback with these beauteous paint jobs is the little wear marks on the top tube
that develop over time from folks touching them to see just what pretty feels like.
Detailed and tuned up by responsible persons with excellent posture.
Less aggressive tires Fine for Asphalt or Dirt.
Maybe a white trail.
