Own A Piece Of Arizona Cycling History! - $300 (Sun City)Domenic Malvestuto was born in Italy during WWII. He grew up to be a very accomplished cyclist and even competed in the World Cycling Championships in Czechoslovakia in 1969. He emigrated to the US and settled in Tempe in 1979. He opened Domenic's Cycling Imports, where (due to his ties to Italy) he was able to import many upscale Italian road bicycles which were not readily available elsewhere in the US. Domenic ran his bike shop (which became known as "Domenic's 2 Wheelers") until his death in 2011. His widow, Judy, still continues to run the family bike shop in Tempe to this day. Domenic also ran a cycling team in Tempe - The Strada Team.
Interesting.

I have a Vicini frameset that came from a shop in Arizona - the seller couldn’t recall the name though and there is no bike shop sticker on it.

I suppose it could have come from this place.

If someone was in Daytona Beach area and if they were bored and had $30 they could get a Vitus frameset with possibly some good parts, assuming frameset not damaged

3 older frames - $30 (Edgewater)

3 bike frames including a cool vitus. Parts are no good but frames are great.

Very nice Torpado in Canada

Not completely original, and perhaps a bit over-priced:

For anyone who might be looking for a "Grander and Sportier"™ project, here's a 1973-ish Raleigh Gran Sport frame/fork 62 cm ctt in WI:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Ral...4/363359232622

No bids yet, starting price $116, BIN $150
The serial number (7-digit no-alpha, on left rear dropout, nothing on BB) gave me pause, but cudak888 's Raleigh serial number database confirms that it's a thing, from 1973 (or so).

1989 Casati Monza road bike, 55, Campy 10 speed - $1,050 (West Tisbury)

Nice red and chrome Casati Monza, vintage Italian steel. Rides and handles beautifully. Columbus TSX tubing. 1989 year of manufacture. Roughly 55 square, maybe a coupla mm shorter on the TT. HT is 13.4 cm, standover is 81 cm. Angles about 73 HTA and 74 STA. Wearing Vittoria Corsa G+ 28mm tires. Record HS, FD, and 172.5mm crankset with 50-39 TA chainrings. Chorus shifters, calipers, and RD. Veloce 13-29 10 speed cassette. Campy Proton wheels. Soma highway bars and Sutro stem. Thomson seatpost. Does not include saddle, pedals, cages, etc.
Paint and chrome and decals are good, with the caveat that there are a number of crudely touched up spots. If you're looking for NOS this ain't it. Frame is straight with no dings. I've included pix of the worst spots, can email more to serious inquiries.
I'm on Martha's Vineyard but get up to the Boston area periodically - next trip April 22-23 - and could bring the bike.

Trek 1400 for $60? Terrible photos (is that a scrape or a shadow above the "N" in "aluminum" on the top tube??). Still, if you had an axle and "a few misc hardware pieces", might have a nice cheap ride

Rapid City, South Dakota

Roadbike project -Trek 1400 - $60 (Rapid City)

A rear axle and a few misc hardware pieces and she's back on the road! New brakes and tire included

True, definitely is. But that 105 group is probably worth at least double the ask.

All 531, seems it's a PX-10 variant. For $200 it's hard to beat. Even with the BL mechs.

Saw this Viner "Special Touring" pop up, my size, and a decent price at $450 were it not for that massive whack in the DS fork blade. Not like I can talk, my Special Pro has a pretty gnarly whack on the DS chainstay. But anyway, maybe it's interesting for someone, at worst a fork blade needs replacement. Weird mish-mash of parts IMO, long cage Cyclone GT rear mech which I presume is a replacement. I have a sneaky suspicion this may've come with a Rally out back.

I wonder if the seller read your post. Price is now down to $425. This is odd, because just last week I traded my Viner Special Touring for an `84 Ross Mt. Whitney in chrome, and a later Diamondback Apex MTB in black. This was a fair trade for me because the Viner always felt too delicate. I put on my Covid 20 over the winter, and now I like my bikes beefy, like me. But financially I probably got the worst end of that deal.
