It's a little outside the size of an average rider, and therefore discounted.

Maybe so but sure wasn't too big for the last rider with that SP on the moon, looks like one of mine on the small side.

I was also suspicious but the Brake Bridge stamp is one thing that's actually reassuring because it's Ten Speed Drive who did import Ciocc (among others). I think they had a budget model in their line which had no tubing decal but solid paint (no chrome on the frame, possibly a chrome fork) which many concluded was Aelle. If I had to bet I would say this is one of those TSD Aelle with a pump peg added when repainted. Surprised that any Pro painter would not source genuine decals from the SSS company that has everything, but could be that oddball decal was added by the owner, later. Also a chance it's no Ciocc at all but any Italian Frame TSD imported would not be junk! (and the fork is real Ciocc)

Spotted in SF CL, IMO worth it for vintage Campy parts alone, great buy if your size, help the guy find a worthy new owner.

1971 Windsor Profesional - $350 OBO (mission district)

frame size: 61cm, 57cm top tube
elling my vintage 1971 Windsor Profesional. 50 years old but still rides and looks fantastic. People are always complimenting me and asking about it. This bike is light, stiff and responsive - perfect for dashing around the city.

Windsor, a Mexican company that was trying to break into the high end racing market at the time, made the frame with high quality double butted tubing and top of the line Italian Cinelli and Campagnolo components. The racy cut and drilled chrome lugs are a really handsome touch. All original Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset, Cinelli 1A stem and Giro d' Italia handlebars. Caliper brakes and levers are newer Suntour Superbe, but they fit the look well. Definitely needs a better seat for the full effect, but the one on there rides fine.

Geometry is high and tight - 61cm seat tube fits taller riders (6ft +) but the top tube is shorter (57cm). This was common with Italian bikes of that era; tucks the rider in low, great for cornering and bombing hills. The shorter reach is great if you have longer legs and shorter torso too.

Just put on new Vittoria tires, new tubes, new bar tape, new chain, new brake pads and had a shop do a tune up. This beauty is ready to ride! It is 50 years old so the paint and decals are chipping and bit scratched, but I think this just adds to the vintage charisma. If you wanted to splash out for cleaner look, you could powder coat and the result would be stunning.

$350 OBO - I'm willing to negotiate since I want it to find a good home. I'm moving an can't take it with me.

Shopgoodwill provides me ultimate buyers envy. All these good bikes, but never near me! And unfortunately it seems shipping is nearly always out of question...

My guess is it would be a great riding bike at the least.

Ha, ha. Try being Canadian and buying in the USA

Just bought a new B67 Brooks $70 for saddle and $55 to ship here! Granted really good saddle at a great price but you can ship a frame set from Buffalo to San Diego for $30.

Great point - shipping in the states isn’t THAT bad. I guess it is just goodwill’s silly shipping policies. They’ll ship 500 pound old oak cabinets, but will never ship sub 30 pound bikes...

I’m glad you chose the B67. I am getting around to breaking in the one I was gifted for Christmas. Comfortable stuff! Cheers!

One would also have to wonder about the "custom paint by Weigle" statement. I can't see Peter making an obviously misleading paint job. He would surely realize the back half isn't a Ciõcc.

Viscount Aerospace Pro / 60cm / $285 / Chicago burbs

Great condition. I'm no expert but looks like the death fork has been replaced. I believe Shimano Crane and Titleist drivetrain, and that fabulous TA-made crankset.
