Collectable Fat Chance Yo-Eddy - $1,000 (Newburyport)

This is an original Fat Chance Yo-Eddy. I bought is directly from LLoyd Graves who was one of the founders along with Chris Chance. The bike is circa 1993 and made in Somerville MA. It hasn't seen a trail in 20 years. It has been hanging in my basement. Would love to see it go to someone who can appreciate the craftsmanship.

From the Wiki page: The most famous model that came from Fat City Cycles was without doubt the cult Yo Eddy. The Yo as it is often referred to is one of the most iconic and collectable mountain bikes of the early 1990s. The famous Team Violet 1991 and 1992 versions with matching rigid "Yo Eddy" forks are often the most desirable and are often built with Ringle, Grafton, Bullseye, Syncros and RockShox parts. Owning a Yo is the pinnacle for most vintage mountain bike collectors and the value of these bikes in recent years has seen a significant rise.

Vintage Club Fuji, 1986? For $70, you can't go wrong.
P.S. Someone on this forum please buy it before it ends up in the hands of that disgusting flipper here in the Bay Area.

Dirt cheap and dirty.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...312059430.html

vintage Olmo beater frame + thomson seatpost - $100 (Medford)

need a bike you won't feel bad about riding in the rain, sleet, snow, or whatever else it is? well look no further. this well loved frame is ready for you.

featuring a still prettttty smooth shimano bottom bracket, thomson seatpost (weird size, 26.8), and campagnolo left side friction shifter, this olmo grand prix frame is ready for your next commute to work, grocery run, or night out on the town.

some cosmetic rust on...nearly everywhere, this frame was frame-saver coated internally in 2017 and then used by me for a couple years as a commuter but still cruises comfortably and has many miles left in it.

58 cm center to center seat tube, 56 cm center to center top tube for comfy riding. plenty of threads on the 1" threaded headset.

flowers and 70 degree afternoon in the yard not included. also, no seatpost binder bolt sorry 😐

I surely agree with RS's opinion. It really is a sweet looking ride. Not local to me and I'm not in the market, but for the price? That is, IMO, a really nice acquisition for someone.

Great bike for road races, road riding and riding the Cape Cod Canal.
Needs repairs in order to ride.
Looks like there’s a repair tag on the brake cable...as I say, “Worth fixin’, not worth gettin’ fixed!”...I suspect someone didn’t want to pay the quoted repair cost...great deal for someone who does their own work...
