You never know. Someone could be in need of a good cocktail car.
Also, there's a black and red Grand Record for $300 on eBay at the moment. Seller is in San Antonio, Texas for local pickup only. Can't quite link the URL yet, but if anyone has been eyeing a GR, there you are. |

https://scontent-msp1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...c1&oe=60B81592 *edit* Okay, here's the original link I followed. This was in the wrong category on a VW forum (this is a Bay bus in a Vanagon forum) and I saw some bicycles below the red van so kept following that page. Just tried retracing my steps and never found the Tempo although I did see many familiar items. If you want to search for it, go right ahead. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/47387799...a909719cd8 |

Vermeer? $100 for pair
Not sure what these are, but pretty darn cool looking...
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...b-4922c3e1390e These are great vintage bicycles. I wanted to repaint them but I don’t have the time. They are in working condition and the only issue is one needs a front tire tube. I’m asking $100 for the pair https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...3a69359500.jpg |

1983 vitus 979 xl - $450 (Natick)https://images.craigslist.org/00k0k_...2_1200x900.jpgVitus 979 duralinox construction. One of the first (if not the first) aluminum road bikes ever made, and still feels very light as compared to today’s aluminum bikes. Handmade in France circa 1983, these bikes caused a big splash at the time. It has been ungraded with shimano rsx brake/shifters (not available in ‘83). Campagnolo crank and rims. Has been very well maintained it’s whole life plus it was recently detailed and tuned, everything works perfectly! This bike still rides like the high end, cutting edge bike that it is (plus modern brake/shifters)Make me an offer, I may say no, but I won’t be offended. I will consider trades or partial trades for other bikes (interested in all types of bicycles)

Miyata 610 Touring bike for 5'-4"- 5'-8" - $420 (Foxboro)https://images.craigslist.org/00L0L_...q_1200x900.jpgVery nice mid 1980’s Miyata Six Ten Touring bike. 19" frame that should be good for a rider between 5'-4" - 5'-8"' 18 speed Shimano drive train with a granny gear for climbing hills. The bike was just totally refurbished: tuned, lubed and derailleurs and brakes adjusted and new bar tape installed. Jim Blackburn alloy rear rack for panniers and Selle suede saddle. This touring bike has triple-butted splined Chromoly frame tubing that was manufactured with the same technique as the piping used for guns. It was bored out lengthwise using a round steel rod. This produced a very unusual quality tubing for use in bicycles. This bike is slightly lighter in weight than Trek 520/720 touring bikes, but of similar quality. The Miyata 610 was considered one of the finest, lightest off-the-shelf touring bikes of its time, with splined, triple-butted chromoly tubing. The 610 is flexible yet stiff to provide a competent platform for loaded touring, but it’s just as adept at comfortably wandering the backroads on a Sunday afternoon. Please text/call show contact info . Emails will not be answered. Sold for cash and pick up only. If the posting is up the bike is still for sale. No need to call. Please mention Miyata 610 if you text. Key Words: Trek 520, Fuji, Bridgestone, Motobecane, Univega, Raleigh |

I'd argue that this is a very good deal (includes that really nice and smooth Dura Ace crank removal tool)

It’s a great bike for the paved roads of New England but I moved to NH and switched to gravel roads. It needs to be ridden more. It is a great light touring or randonneur bike. As you can see in the pics, the bike is in excellent shape with a couple of minor rub marks on the top tube. The drivetrain and tires have very little wear. The seat tube is 57cm (22.5 in) center to center and should comfortably fit anyone 5’10” or taller. It has an 83cm (32.5 in) standover height. Components: Shimano Ultegra 9 speed group 52-42-30 crankset 11-34 rear sprocket 700c x 28 tires Chris King headset Thompson seatpost If this post is up the bike is for sale. I don't respond to "Is it still for sale?" emails. |
