Sharp looking frame for those looking to try disc brakes, while sticking to the lugged steel look.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bo...320351728.html

Dave Anderson stainless steel 53.5cm all road disc frame/fork/hs - $1,200 (West Tisbury)

Built for me by Dave Anderson, one of the modern masters of steel frames and especially stainless steel. 53.5cm effective top tube, 18.2cm extended head tube for relaxed position and long days in the saddle. Built for hydraulic disc brakes and mechanical shifting. This is for the frame/fork and Chris King headset. Standard BSA threaded bottom bracket, and spaced for 100/135mm quick release wheelset. Accepts racks and fenders. I ran 700cx37mm tires, great for both pavement and dirt roads.

There are a few very minor scratches in the paint. Rack mounts, inside chainstays, on the head tube, scratch on the left fork blade. Hard to even photograph, all pretty minor for an eight year old bike that has been ridden. Blue metalflake paint is lovely, the bike just sparkles. I'm 5'9", and imagine this bike fitting those in the 5'6"-5'10" range.

Know the seller, former forum member (banned, unsure why not here to spark controversy). Knowledgeable, fair, and skilled mechanic and avid enthusiast. Would not hesitate to purchase from again nor purchase any bikes he has listed (unfortunately not my size). I am biased, but based on my experiences and dealings with him with sales as well as being a wealth of information regarding cycling and all manners of things.

crank_addict was his handle. Shame he is banned. His forum contributions were plentiful.

Good luck with the purchase. I'm not anywhere near SFO, or I might have gone for this one.
I wouldn't know how to buy a CL bike halfway across the country.

I think this bike was for sale last year or the one before. I remember the mismatched hoods. Never did sale, so the owner's taking another stab at it. It's my size and about 10 minutes from me, but that's more coin than I want to pay. There's also a rusty Bottecchia sitting on the Richmond CL for half that price. I could probably facilitate if need be.

If you can replace an RD.......

Besides, with 3 on the front you've got 9 and who needs more than 9 anyway?

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/b...320840686.html

Giant Kronos - $60 (Bothell)20+years old. Still rolls great. Rear derailed may need replacing. I can’t figure it out. Shifts into 3 gears. Worth fixing! I am moving or 8 would keep and fix.
