The part that I don't get is why its been listed for so long without any takers, that thing has been relisted 5 or 6 times now.
If it wasn't an hour from me I'd probably go get it just to have for future projects.
I think its the same seller that's been listing a ton of other vintage French stuff over the past year or so.
I'm not 100% sure its the same seller but there was a couple new old stock pair of Rigida 1320 rims laced to Campy hubs listed for $200.

Seatpost alone has to be worth that.

This has been listed for a LONG time, over a year off and on with no takers, I don't get it, it looks super clean, it appears to be a 23.5" model, which I would think would be the most popular size for most men, and its cheap, yet it just sits, and not even an hour out of NYC.
I keep reading how there's a shortage of good bikes in the city but bikes like this just sit.
If I wasn't a 4 hour round trip from this I'd be temped to buy it myself, its the right size, the right color, its a Raleigh, and its got good paint and chrome on it. I just haven't talked myself into adding yet another bike to the stable. I don't think I can fit even one more right now.

It is surprising, sellers usually mention the Brooks. Perhaps it's sold and seller to lazy to remove??

You could call them "29x2.0" and flip it as a 29-er.

(Or is "29-er" played out now? (shrug) )

Looks like one of the gaspipe Falcon-made Merckx bikes, not a quality Columbus frame. Not worth it at $100, definitely not worth it at former price of $500.

And it's got the Huret long cage RD. I sold the one off mine for well over $120 and popped on a Suntour.
