Road Bike Vintage racer Beistegui - $450
Never heard of this brand, but it's got some nice lug work. Hmm, rear brake is mounted on the inside of the seat stays? Is that legit, or did someone just mount it wrong? And that ergo-stem... *shudder*... at least he has a Cinelli to go with it.
https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...332883989.html
https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...332883989.html
Up for sale is a vintage Beistegui triathlon bike.
This beauty has been in storage for 10yrs.
It measures 56cm but I’d say it rides a little smaller.
Mostly shimano 105 components, velocity rims and some cool vintage stuff like the Look ergostem, and Campagnola water bottle/cage.
Just dusted her off, pumped up the tires and she rides and shifts great.
Bought this bike for my dad about 15yrs ago because he was an old racer and I thought he’d like it. He rode it for a few years then got something more upright.
I’m down sizing all my gear so this bikes gotta go.
Full price buyers can have a period correct cinelli stem if they want it.
$450 cash firm
No test rides unless I have cash in my hand.

"Gatorback" tires...
https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...333370186.html

1984 Trek 560
This isn't a showroom piece but it's in good shape with the exception of the dirty bar wrap from moving it around in storage for many years.
It's solid and tuned up with newer high quality consumables - Continental Gatorback tires and new brake pads. Original full Suntour Cyclone groupset including brakes.
Includes a cycle computer that needs a battery.

For some reason Seattle Miyatas tend to be expensive (there's been a 912 on the market for like $750 for months) but this is a good'un
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...333318882.html
From 1990, in pretty good condition and everything works great. A few nicks and scratches in the paint here and there. Lugged aluminum frame with steel stays and steel fork. Seat tube is 56 cm center to top and the top tube is 55cm center to center. It has eyelets so you can run racks and fenders. It'd make a great touring bike.
All original components and brand new 700cx32mm Panaracer Pasela tires and brand new Kool Stop brake pads.

Those purple anodized rims are 100% sick, too. Get it just for those.

Fillet brased frame with Campagnolo dropouts? Was this at all common at any point on Ritchey frames?

Nothing wrong with it, the brake is on the front side of the fork too so...
Here's another example, it had to go on the front of this one so the rack would fit, it originally had cantis that were removed, PO had never had the rear rack on so when he consigned it at Sellwood cycles they said
