I hope nobody would be dumb enough to advertise to the public that they're selling a stolen bike, but....you never know.

Gene, I'm in Raleigh, good to see another local on the C&V forums.

The listing implies 50's vintage. It's a '72 or '73, I think, judging by the logo decal.

Miyata 1000 57cm - $350 (Encinitas)

Date: 2010-08-09, 10:44AM PDT
https://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/bik/1889198738.html

All original Miyata 1000. Suntour and Dia Compe components. Top end touring bike and an all-time classic. Would make an excellent commuter, tourer, grocery getter, randonneur, etc. From my best guess this bike is from the early 80's. Selling because it's too small for me.

Keywords: Steel, lugs, lugged, koga, touring, randonneur, randonneurring, classic, vintage, surly, independent, moots, indy, vanilla, suntour, dia compe.

I think it's a little over priced at that number. I also don't think it's a real Team bike (if it is, it's not over priced at all).

this Trofeo is different from the one on ebay (that was smaller and the $6,600 one is a '87 LOL) this Trofeo is in the apprasail forums. my understanding is he actually has 2 this one and 56 he is keeping. perhaps you can talk him down a bit.

it is a great bike and a very rare color scheme.

San Jose Area 59 CM 1993 Bridgestone XO-2. - $450 (los gatos)

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/bik/1891382210.html

This bike was bought as a close out in 1994 when they discontinued shipping Bridgestone bikes to the US. The bike came built up with the rockshox Mag 21
This is a lugged Japanese frame; according to the Bridgestone catalogue in 1993 the only difference between this bike and the X0-1 is the following
1. Drop Bars instead of Mustache bars. The bars on this bike are not the original
2. Triple Crank
3. The production model had a less expensive crown fork; this one came with the rock shox
Furthermore in 1993 they wanted to offer a 26inch wheel version of the RBT. This was it. The only year Bridgestone offered a lugged XO-2 . According to Bridgstone catalogue
You can click the link to confirm https://www.sheldonbrown.com/bridgestone/1993/index.htm
This is a rare bike indeed.
Upgrades include
Grip shift bar end shifters
The bike has been stored in the garage for the past 7 years, it is a bit too big for me and I need to clear some stuff out.
Hopefully it will go to a home where it is appreciated.
I’m pretty firm on the price, and I believe it is a fair price.
Call me if you have any questions.
Bob

Yep...They need to shrink that thing 2-3cm all around and I would be whining for someone to go grab it! Not something you see too often on Craigslist!!
