Masi Gran Corsa road bike - Perfection! - $1,900 (Sturbridge)

Classic vintage Masi Gran Corsa road bike, designed in Italy, built in California, year of manufacture is 1980. Masi workmanship, performance, and ride quality is legendary. Frame size is 56cm (center-to-top). Extremely original mint condition, including paint and decals, very, very low miles with no discernible wear on any components. Gorgeous deep chrome plated fork and right chainstay. Nearly flawless. Very nice Masi engraving on lugs, seat stay caps, fork crown. Full Dura Ace 14 speed group set with original lustrous finish on all components, including front and rear derailleurs, shift levers, brakes, hubs. Campagnolo seat post. Beautiful fully chromed fork, dropouts, and chainstay. Cinelli handlebars and stem, Mavic rims. Selle Italia Turbo leather saddle. All components are in like new condition.

The bike just received a complete $135 professional tune-up, including the following:

- Front and rear derailleur adjustment
- Front and rear brake adjustment
- Front and rear wheel truing
- Full drivetrain lubrication

Masi's are legendary for their workmanship, handling, performance, and ride quality. This is an exceptional example that will give the owner many years of riding enjoyment. The bike is located in central Connecticut, I can meet you half way at a convenient location such as Sturbridge.

The RD is from Argentina (See the Disraeli gears homepage). So Id say the bike is probaply Argentinian, with a name that suggest an European heritage.

Miele sighting below the Mason Dixon...

I posted this in the Miele thread, but it is rare to see these little ones in the area...probably a transplanted person from the great white north...

"Solid Miele Lupa12 Speed road bike. Cromoly/Steel frame, Great condition. Shimano Deore shifters and components. Originally classified as a Road/Triathalon bike. Comfortable Specialized saddle. Bike is ready to ride. 23" Frame. Spare rear wheel with bigger cluster available. $300 OBO".

Pretty colour

Has the elongated set back tri-post, but not sure of the componentry...seems a mish mash.

Another interesting one...mixture of Shimano 600 AND tri-color 600. Hubs look like straight 600 (which is not a bad thing...they are one of my favorites). First version of tri-color?
