Latin 101 fail
terra = earth (as opposed to sky or sea)
naut = sailor
nothin' in there 'bout road or off-road . . .

My bad. I was thinking terra being natural land and not being a pun of the word naut. Road being man made not natural. So you can't (not) take the bike onto the natural land.

I know the seller. He's something of a odd duck (first guy I ever knew of who rode a mixte) but he's owned this bike probably since new and was the local bike club president. He has cred and cares not one whit what you think.

The real questions most probably want to know are: Is his price firm? Could you get the friend discount?

This one might be worth an inquiry. Looks like some Campy stuff on it and fairly cheap.

Not a friend; I just know him from years of shop work and the local scene so that discount is out. I suspect he'll hold firm on the price. He had one ad that ran for months.

To my eyes there's no way this is 55cm. But then the blue Paramount a few ticks above also looks a bit taller than 55 as well, but maybe only 1-2cm or so. So has "55" become the default in some CL ad forms?

Maybe they didn't proofread before posting. I agree, not 55, but I've had auto fill jump in to post previous descriptions. Seems to be legitimate otherwise.

A quick scan shows nothing awesome, but there's a lot here. Perhaps a C&Ver in the Seattle area can find enough good parts to justify the purchase and donate the rest to a co-op.
